YOU HOLD MY DATA AND EVENT VIDEOS, WHICH WERE PROVIDED SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PARTICIPATING IN THE EV TEST DRIVE, AN EXPERIENCE THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Normally I wouldn’t bother giving feedback, but silence only lets mediocrity thrive or what has been popularly termed the “Olodo Uprising.” I attended the Alt Bank / Alt Drive EV Experience 2.0 expecting professionalism. The event had already been postponed due to weather, so I assumed planning was thorough. Instead, it was a disaster-class in event management and customer experience. Staff were clueless about logistics. One employee tried to lead me to a caravan (security quarters) instead of a restroom, then suggested Sterling HQ. Only after 10 minutes did she realize a mobile restroom existed. Technical expertise was almost nonexistent. Out of 10+ staff, only one could answer basic EV questions. Most gave the impression: “Do your research, we’re just here to take your money.” Crowd control was chaotic. No queue, no system, just confusion. Two EVs for 20+ attendees meant long waits and frustration. Time management was abysmal. I arrived at 11am but was told the morning batch had to leave before the afternoon batch could start at 2pm. The final straw: despite presenting a driver’s license and signing an indemnity form, I was denied a test drive. Reason? An attendee allegedly bashed an EV earlier, so only those making down payments could drive. The rest of us were relegated to “ride shotgun.” Instead of rescheduling attendees or managing the situation professionally, staff told us to “wait until the crowd dies down.” That was the moment I realized this event had no respect for people’s time. This wasn’t an EV showcase, it was amateur hour. If Alt Bank wants to be taken seriously, they need to train staff, respect attendees, and deliver the quality their brand promises. Would I attend another Alt Bank event? Definitely not. Will I give feedback again? Absolutely, because silence only fuels mediocrity.
