Hawaa A. ★★★★★ : First day: front desk man gave me a mocking look and maybe mumbled a greeting which I didn't hear. A rude concierge looked me in the eye and told me to shout "yeeeees" from the end of my room before I get to the door to open the door. Then I was served a Palace Cesar Salad on a flat plate like actual rubbish or goat food. Plate was full and some of the crumbs where falling from the overflowing hot mess. One restaurant staff stopped attending to me mid-order to attend to a light skinned guest. Roaches, roaches, roaches, plenty roaches in the room and toilet 🪳. Hygiene alert ‼️‼️‼️‼️ I'm leaving to find a better place.

Aya H. ★★★★★ : It was a bad experience. The wifi was almost never working and electricity kept shutting down and everytime the electricity was off the internet was disconnected too. The bed sheets and towels were full of stains and I had to constantly ask the straff to change them in order to get clean ones. Another problem was the mosquitos, because there are plants everywhere around the room so I always had mosquitos in my room. It was so frustrating and I will never visit this place again.

There were no porters to help with our luggage, soon after we were treated shabbily by the front desk officers, who looking at our tired faces greets us with "there is no reservation for you " when they confirmed our booking at good notice prior to our visit. This hotel has a grand structure, but service is ZERO. Hospitality is nothing about structure when kindness and humaness is absent. I never want to return here. I hope the get to train their staff before they go down.

Bulus S. ★★★★★ : Good and beautiful hotel by Kano standards, located in a busy area. I've been staying here whenever I'm in Kano since 2024, I recommended it to some of my colleagues. The staff are very courteous, helpful. However, if you enjoy relaxing at the lounge you may want to be cautious. There is bartender called Comfort at the City View Rooftop Lounge who inflate bills. This happened to me, and when I noticed the price discrepancy, I requested for receipt and asked for explanation. To my surprise, the following day when I returned to the lounge ordered drinks, she refused to serve me, despite serving everyone else at my table. I waited for over 45 minutes without being attended to. Call another bartender to attend to me she refers me back to same lady two people can't serve one table. I report the issue to their supervisor, Mr. Dominic, a great guy. He personally stepped in and served me. Unfortunately, this experience made me consider exploring other accommodation options next time I'm in Kano. Thanks to the reception team. I still remember Daniel and his colleagues; they were always friendly, professional, and very welcoming. Good hotel with wonderful staff but management may need to pay closer attention to customer service issues at the rooftop lounge.

Our bathroom drainage wasn’t working, and on the second day we came back to find our window left open while we were out. It had rained, so our room was wet. Instead of apologizing, one of the male receptionists accused us of leaving the window open. At checkout, they tried to charge us for drinks we never ordered. When we asked them to bring the signed bill, the bartender came out shouting at us and insisting they had records. After checking properly, they admitted the bill belonged to another room and had been posted to ours by mistake. But I appreciate the lady for her professionalism m, she kept apologizing and even said they would change our room for us if we could stay back

The Suite is the last room you should think of paying for if you care about quality and standard. The environment is clean though, I will give them that.
