- Sami Y. ★★★★★ : Lekki Conservation Centre is definitely one of the places you should visit if you are in Lagos. 🌿🌴 The centre is surrounded by beautiful natural forest, fresh air and lots of greenery, making it a great place to escape the busy atmosphere of Lagos for a while. Walking through the forest and seeing wildlife in their natural environment makes the experience even more special. Monkeys are everywhere throughout the centre, so you will definitely come across them during your visit. If one comes close enough and is comfortable around people, you may even have the chance to gently pet one. 🐒🌳 The wooden walkways and trails make it possible to explore the area while being surrounded by nature. The atmosphere is peaceful, green and completely different from the city. If you are visiting Lagos, I would definitely recommend adding Lekki Conservation Centre to your list. It is a great place for walking, taking photos and videos, enjoying nature and experiencing a different side of Lagos. 📸🌿 I personally really enjoyed my visit and would happily come back again.
- MG ★★★★★ : Flew from Abuja to Lagos to meet a friend. I hadn’t planned to do any sightseeing, but while my friend was at work, I decided to visit Lekki Conservation Centre. I took an Uber there and found it to be one of the most convenient ways to get around the city. My in-app payment didn’t go through, so I simply paid the driver the same fare shown in the Uber app—30,000 naira for the roughly 30 km journey from the airport area to Lekki Conservation Centre. Admission to the centre was 8,000 naira, and I spent about two hours exploring the famous canopy walkway and the peaceful boardwalk. It was absolutely stunning. Standing on the observation tower and looking out over the endless treetops, I felt completely immersed in the forest. Monkeys played among the branches, crocodiles basked quietly below, and a peacock spread its magnificent tail in full display. It was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of my time in Nigeria.
