- Emmy N. ★★★★★ : Not worth it. I would not recommend spending your money here. I visited Rutland with my family, and unfortunately, the experience was far below what I expected. We paid the entrance fee and decided to try the bumper cars first. On arrival, there was no attendant available to guide us or explain how the attraction worked. Only two bumper cars were operating, and both were already occupied. We had to ask people in the queue where to go, then approach the ticket counter where the staff there failed to acknowledge us. When we eventually got information, we were told that two children could ride in one car, with an exception for an adult. However, another staff member later explained that only one child was allowed per car. This was confusing, especially as we had seen an adult riding with a child. The ticket cost ₦3,000 per car for what we were told was a 7-minute ride. For that price, I expected better organisation, clearer communication, and a more engaging experience. What concerned me most was the lack of attention to safety and customer service. The attendant managing the bumper cars was hardly present at the attraction, and there was no proper explanation to the children on how to use the cars safely. The staff member at the ticket counter also came across as unhelpful and nonchalant. We had the kids drive the bumper cars and used the trampoline. We planned on doing more activities, but unfortunately we had to quit due to the lots of hazards, lack of safety awareness and customer service. After the bumper car, we visited the restaurant, but that was another disappointment. How do you serve food and then make customers wait endlessly for water? Even after requesting it, the delay was frustrating. The overall service lacked the warmth and hospitality I expected. The management has a lot of work to do. Better staff training, clearer communication, proper supervision of attractions, and improved restaurant service would make a significant difference. This is simply my review based on my experience. Unfortunately, if I had to choose again, I would not return to Rutland, even if the entrance were free.
- Christabel E. ★★★★★ : The cost price of most of the things there are very high, the entry fee is 1,650 for adults/teenagers and 1,100 for children currently, and the facilities aren't good at all, specifically in the swimming area. The cost price is 4,000 per person to swim,the water is dirty, the changing room usually smells and you also have to pay for the toys and floaters in the swimming pool and the bumper cars the which cost 3,000 per person have only two working correctly. I won't advice anyone to come here unless you want to waste your money or at least don't swim.
