Femi A.★★★★★ — The Dome is an event centre in Akure. Surprisingly the place is huge with a big conference hall and many smaller halls. The AC works perfectly. The convenience is accessible, well maintained and modern.
salihu Z.★★★★★ — International Conference center, The Dome it's big. We had our the JCI Gala Night the State Governor was in attendance. It's a magnificent edifice. Akure is a beautiful place 😍
Christson S.★★★★★ — I attended Tech Xplore 1.0 at The Dome, Akure in 2024, and it was truly an amazing experience. The environment is lovely, serene, and very well suited for events of all kinds.
The open space gives the venue a refreshing feel and allows for good airflow and comfortable movement, even with a large number of attendees. The ambience was calm, neat, and professional, which added a lot of value to the overall experience of the event.
The Dome is a great choice for conferences, tech events, seminars, and social gatherings. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, beautiful, and well-organized event centre in Akure.
Daramola O.★★★★★ — The place is mind blowing one of a kind in the south west by the state government.
Akintayo H.★★★★★ — It is a nice place for event, it has 2 storey section with nice interior, it is perfect for wedding and whatever function you have in mind
Michael R.★★★★★ — The place was a top notch event and high class
Adeleke P.★★★★★ — Nepa akure night view was one of the beautiful nights view I have seen
Ubong I.★★★★★ — Been here once.
This park is a bit rowdy.
There is also no available restroom in the parks.
It is not a major park per se as they travel to largely south west and north central states from there (to the best of my knowledge).
They should work on maintenance.
Emmanuel B.★★★★★ — It is a nice place for students to study Animals, Plants and Our Environment
Oyewole A.★★★★★ — The national history museum, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife is a beautiful architectural edifice. It is located along road 7 on the Obafemi Awolowo University campus. The environment is serene and calm. It is a museum where you can see relics, models, artifacts, and stuffed animals about the national history of Nigeria.
Oluwadamilola A.★★★★★ — This place is inarguably a one star!
Can't say for the bar/lounge but the rooms are nothing to write home about!
Musky smell in the rooms! Beddings were so dirty like they hadn't been laundered in a while.
Requested for a change of beddings at past 7pm and they refused, their excuse being that their cleaner left for the day. Just imagine! Did they take the hotel supplies with them?
The shower doesn't work, instead they have a dirty bucket and small bowl in the bathroom.
Their wardrobe was also very dusty!
They only gave us light overnight. There was no light during the day.
There was no complimentary supplies whatsoever! No soap, beverage or towel!
The noise from the lounge music at night is deafening!
The entire reception is not it at all.
This place is definitely no home away from home. Maintenance culture is definitely foreign to them here.
I suggest you take your business elsewhere.
Adodo S.★★★★★ — Worth more than the ticket fee...wish to see more animals on my next visit
Jerry A.★★★★★ — I was there a few years ago. Decent number of animals, terrestrial, aquatic, arboreal and aerial, but the service and facilities aren't good. I know it's a wildlife park but they can do better. It may have changed a lot since I was there but the other reviews suggest it hasn't. No businesses on site too.
