Arinze E. ★★★★★ : I was taken aback by the large land mass this property covers. It is a lot. Functionality wise, it still works, but it felt like a place where life is slowly fading away from.
Miss C. ★★★★★ : Everything you've heard about this location is probably right. The highlight of the activities was the manual boat ride. Emphasis on manual, it was fun😆. Activities to do within OOPL are visit to the museum, library, wildlife park, mountain of inspiration(use to be cooler than it is now though, those huts/bar are not necessary), boat ride (electronic or manual), zebra deck, ferris wheel/fun pack and several bar/joint/under-the-tree seat-outs/ relaxation points There are also chalets for staycations and a recording studio (just incase you catch an inspiration on the mountain 😁) At the wildlife park reception, there is a mini mountain hike to try out for free; the experience is giving ideas for my next vacation location The visit to OOPL was part of my itinerary to Abeokuta and in all, i/we had fun.

Growing up, I was opportune to watch few movies of Late Herbert Ogunde, visiting his home and Museum was an amazing experience.
Rehanat A. ★★★★★ : The Museum houses the life and times of Nigeria's premier filmmaker, HUBERT OGUNDE. Artifacts from his professional and personal life are NEATLY kept in this museum. I am impressed about how well maintained the museum is and the intentional effort to keep it clean. . You'd find traditional attires and regalia used from stage plays in his time. The most intriguing part of my visit was being able to see the film equipment used in the 1970s and thus compare them to how technology has transcended over the years. Young filmmakers will find this place exciting as there's a gallery of pictures document renowned filmmakers either on their visits to Hubert ogunde or in the course of their professional or personal affiliations. . The Museum is a very well-kept secret that requires a lot of publicity. It's a goldmine in the making if properly publicised.
