Nurudeen K. ★★★★★ : I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable condition of the room allocated to my family during our stay. Unfortunately, my wife and I had a terrible experience at your hotel. The bed in our room was broken, and we reported the issue to your staff before leaving the hotel. We were assured at 17.02 that it would be repaired before we returned. However, to our great disappointment, nothing was done to address the problem. As at 21.15 we we returned to the hotel When we returned, the room was still in a very messy and untidy condition. The toilet seat was also broken, and the overall state of the room was extremely uncomfortable and unsuitable for my family. My children were particularly uncomfortable throughout the stay. This experience was especially disappointing because we booked this hotel to celebrate our honeymoon. We expected a clean, comfortable, and pleasant environment for such a special occasion, but instead, our stay was filled with discomfort and disappointment. I have attached pictures showing the condition of the room as evidence. I would appreciate a prompt explanation of why these issues were not addressed after they had already been reported, as well as appropriate satisfactory resolution for the poor experience we endured.
Olukemi ★★★★★ : I stayed on the 1st floor and noticed that some of the AC units on the right were not working like room 120 ... however all my friends dt stayed in the rooms on the left had no complaints. So I complained and my room was changed. Also breakfast buffet wasn't so good.... didn't come wth too many options. Other than that, a beautiful hotel...oh and shower in d bathroom was divine, beds were also very comfy

I got in on a Sunday and there was live music coming from the restaurant (played from 1pm or so to 5pm). The rooms are clean, the hotel is classy, the food is cool - their breakfast has several options including pastries and different breads. Their pool isn’t too deep, but we couldn’t use it cause of the weather (rain). There’s internet, but it was shoddy in my room and because I was just staying a night I didn’t pursue it. They arrange airport drop off so it was convenient for my colleagues and I. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the driver was visibly irritated and complaining because we hadn’t taken off and it was almost 7am (agreed time). Someone came down late. Overall, I would definitely recommend it and I look forward to staying there again. Hopefully, for an extended time.

Alagbaka Estate is the government heartbeat of Ondo state. The staff are courteous and responsive. The rooms are neat with well made bedding. The AC works and the power supply is good. The swimming pool is well maintained. The food is good and well prepared. They have a wide relaxing lounge. Overall, a good place to relax and have a family holiday.

Tolulope A. ★★★★★ : Deplorable hygiene, failing facilities, and zero customer care. I stayed at Continent Hotel Akure for 2 nights out of complete necessity, having arrived late at night to find other hotels fully booked. My experience from the moment I arrived was terrible, and I will never return. The arrival set a negative tone immediately. The security personnel looked tattered, and the security post itself was visibly dirty. Walking into the reception and along the room corridors, there was a heavy, overpowering smell of mould and dust. The lift was poorly lit with only four lights—two were completely dead and the remaining two were constantly flickering. I reported this safety hazard to the staff, but it was completely ignored and never fixed. Peeping into the ground floor conference room revealed an unacceptable level of neglect. The furniture was covered in a thick layer of dust enough that you could literally write sentences like "Clean me now" on it. The interior finish throughout the room is extremely rough, and the bedsheets were stained upon check-in. On the first night, the bathroom water pressure was barely a trickle. It was so low that I had to manage. By the next morning, there was no running water at all. When I asked staff to fetch water in a bucket, they failed to listen.I specifically requested hot water, but they brought cold water instead. The air conditioner functioned merely like a basic fan without cooling the room. The TV had severely limited channels. (Big Brother Naija 😀) Well, this was fixed the next day after I lodged a complaint.Oddly, the room provided a cup but no spoon. The In-Room Guest folder had turned from white to brown as you can see scales and grease on it. (They should have used a black colour to conceal the dirt ) The complimentary breakfast tasted horrible, and the overall dining environment felt unclean. Air conditioning in the restaurant did not work. I was sweating like a goat! Sadly, cup was provided again but no spoon. (Seem there’s a problem with attention to detail in this hotel) WiFi was slower than what I’d get on my mobile device. (Almost nonexistent) The staff clearly lack basic training and hospitality experience, likely due to cheap labor practices. Beyond the poor service, basic personal hygiene is severely lacking among the personnel. Management needs to mandate basic grooming and personal care (such as deodorant and roll-on) for their staff. This hotel suffers from systemic neglect, foul odors, failing infrastructure, and untrained staff. Do not stay here unless you have absolute zero alternatives.

The air-conditioning was very good. The back-up power was promptly switched on when power failed. The general ambience is very nice and the hotel is very clean and inviting. I did not have access to the rooms or services, since I did not book a room. Grand Capital Hotel promises to be a good place to stay.

Ojaja Park and Suites is situated in a strategic location; it is less than 15km from Akure Airport and close to Akure City. I pray the new management improves the services as soon as possible so that tourists can get value for their money when they visit.

My room was poorly lit and bathroom was not nice but I accepted those two in good faith. The lighting in my room could easily trigger seizures! I had their complimentary breakfast once and my digestive system went lose! Final straw was when I decided to do laundry... LMAO, the folly in that decision couldn't be any more obvious. My white shirt was packaged with thick brown stains in it. The boldness to even package that degree of stain is commendable. Somehow, they also managed to remove the buttons in my suit jacket and misplace it as well when I asked for it so I can fix it. Horrible experience. Frankly, 1 star is generous!

I advised them about upgrading the bathroom & kitchen. Wifi works well & cable service available with clear channels. A kitchen service is available & the food is affordable. A nice variety & good prices. Apart from these, a good place if you are looking for a cheap place to lay your head for a night or two.

The sight of cockroaches in a hotel room is unacceptable and when white bedsheets no longer look white with obvious stains on them and on the bed. Your Room 2 needs a total makeover. I don't know about other rooms

Ezinwa Nwachukwu-Agbada. ★★★★★ : I stayed at Glossy Hotel when I went to Akure for a work trip. It was comfortable. The mattress was quite soft, if you have orthopaedic issues, you might need to make a special request. Their complementary breakfast was poor the first day but we complained and they changed the menu, the second day. There's a mini mart too. Glossy is a decent, clean, affordable and quiet establishment if you have business or pleasure in Akure.
