Alexandra F. ★★★★★ : Urban Wash Café, Gbagada, you have officially converted me. 😂 I genuinely did not know laundry service could be this pleasant. First of all, the service delivery is excellent. From the moment you walk in, the staff are kind, helpful and actually attentive. You get the sense that people care about doing the job properly, not just collecting your clothes and sending you on your way. And then there is the "little" thing that really impressed me: their record keeping. I had subscribed about 4 months ago and apparently still had some washes left on that subscription. I had completely forgotten about it. They hadn’t. They had kept the record and honoured what I was entitled to. That may sound small, but to me, that is ethics and good business practice. When businesses can conveniently “forget” things that favour the customer, Urban Wash remembered. The space itself is lovely. The ambience is clean, comfortable and calm enough that I could actually sit down and get some work done while my laundry was being handled. That is a HUGE win for me because I really don't enjoy spending half a day doing laundry. And my clothes came out smelling SO GOOD. 😭 There is also something deeply satisfying about knowing that your clothes are being properly washed, dried and handled without you having to battle Lagos weather, especially if you don't have a dryer at home. Honestly, once you experience the convenience, it becomes very difficult to go back to doing everything yourself even though you have a washing mahine at home. More importantly, it is affordable. So this isn't one of those “luxury service” experiences where you leave wondering whether you just paid school fees for your clothes. 😂 It is simply good service, good people, good systems, a good environment, and clothes that come back CLEAN and smelling amazing. All-round excellence. If you live around and you have been doing your laundry yourself, please… just go to Urban Wash Café. 😂 I have a feeling you won't want to go back.

After struggling to find good vegetarian food during our first two days in Victoria Island we were delighted to discover this place. It turned out to be the best choice offering delicious vegetarian dishes, excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. It quickly became our go-to restaurant and made our stay much more enjoyable.

One of the things I appreciated most was that they open as early as **8am**, which meant I could enjoy a proper, hearty breakfast before heading to the airport for my flight back to Abuja. The ambiance is clean, bright, and inviting—exactly what you want first thing in the morning. The service was a little on the slow side, but the staff were attentive and pleasant throughout, so it never felt frustrating. The food was simple but satisfying. The breakfast was tasty, the fruit was fresh, and the juice tasted freshly made, which I always appreciate. The pancakes were fluffy but a little on the dry side. One thing to note if you don't eat pork: be sure to watch out for the bacon on the breakfast menu and ask about the ingredients before ordering. Overall, Crust Café is a lovely breakfast spot that focuses on getting the basics right. It's not trying to be overly fancy—just good, honest food in a pleasant setting, and I'd happily stop by again before another early flight.

The first thing that stood out was the atmosphere. It’s tucked away off Demurin Street, so it’s peaceful and feels like a hidden gem away from the usual Lagos hustle. The space is cozy, tastefully designed, and comfortable whether you’re meeting friends, working on your laptop, or simply enjoying some alone time. The coffee was excellent—rich, smooth, and made with care. I also tried one of their pastries, and it paired perfectly with my drink. You can tell they pay attention to quality instead of just serving something average. What impressed me the most was the customer service. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive without being intrusive. They made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit, which made the experience even better. The café is clean, well-maintained, and has a calm vibe that’s becoming increasingly difficult to find in Lagos. It’s the kind of place you visit once and immediately start thinking about when you’ll return. If you’re around Ketu or Alapere and want great coffee, a relaxing environment, and excellent service, Heaven & Eve is definitely worth visiting. It’s a refreshing addition to the area, and I can confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a quality café experience.
