Gee★★★★★ — Fun fact, last time I was here was over 30 years ago with my dad (who's dead now) so was kind of nostalgic going back. It's been taken over by the landmark group and they gradually bringing it back to life. I loved it purely from the nostalgic angle and you can see what it is going to be when it's all done up. They aren't quite there yet though. The rooms are good, was able to watch the champions league in room and got the match i wanted which isn't always a given in most hotels i stay in. The restaurant was same as it was 30 years ago but the service wasn't fantastic. Food was passable, still a lot of work to be done. Front office staff were fantastic and it was a pleasant experience. You can already see where is headed and I'll definitely go back in a few months. The view over the lake is awesome
ozioma J.★★★★★ — Lodged in one of the deluxe rooms and it was breathtaking experience, the services was also topnotch with well mannered and polite workers. We later went for a boat ride around the lake and it was yet another awesome experience, while on the boat ride we came across a Croc that was resting on a root of a tree and was receiving some sunshine and we took pictures of it. The location was also another thing, it was located outskirt of the town, I loved my time there and already planing for a revisit with my fiancée.
Cynthia I.★★★★★ — Visiting the Center for Memories was a truly emotional experience. The center does an excellent job of promoting and showcasing the history, traditions, and customs of the Igbo people. The exhibits are well-curated, and the interactive displays make it a fun and engaging experience for visitors of all ages. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
I'm so proud to see our culture being celebrated and preserved in such a beautiful way." - If you're interested in learning about Igbo traditions and history, this is the place to be!" - 5/5 stars
Chinonso N.★★★★★ — I went there for an event, things fall apart event.
It was a beautiful place, there were beautiful art pieces on exhibition there, I don't know if that's the norm, but I hope so. 🤲🏾
The paintings were very beautiful with sculptures also.
Olisa E.★★★★★ — Very nice and lovely place to be nice staffs but need to adjust the price cuz not everybody can afford it
Kene★★★★★ — It was a really fun and exciting experience, I went there during Christmas with my family and we had an amazing time. They have an arcade with alot of games to pick from and they have a park where you can get rides, the scenery is great for dates. Unfortunately I couldn't take proper pictures but I'll take some when next I go there
Jennifer O.★★★★★ — This is one of those places you’d call a hidden gem, tucked quietly by the corner of Omedel Hotel called “Gold Comb Salon & Spa.” It’s a small barbing salon with a very skilled barber. Proper equipment, a clean setup, and he also sells really good clippers, game cards, and even sex toys.
In the 30 minutes I was there (from 21:00–21:30), he was still getting booked for both tonight and tomorrow, which already tells you how good he is. It’s one of those places where you’d find high-value, wealthy and low-key people.
I forgot to ask for his name, but I hope the pictures will help with directions. Definitely worth checking out if you’re around the area.

Confidence O.★★★★★ — I came with a big expectation cos of what I saw online, but was so disappointed. Poor services, there food is nothing to write home about, no restrictions to some places like allowing guest to smoke weed in the pool area making it not to be child friendly . I’m definitely not coming back
Kenechukwu M.★★★★★ — For me the hotel is trying but we need to put more effort like right now they are complaining about the pool TV, drinks is costly, lacking of food stuff at the kitchen, room complain.
So now what to do to attract customers at least at the bar
we need a game that's attract customers something like PS game 🎮 and also snooker 🎱 from there they might buy some drinks
Cherish O.★★★★★ — I was at The Base for Devfest Enugu 2025 and we made use of the hall. The whole compound is The Base. The hall is spacious and I like that there are no pillars in the middle of the main hall blocking anyone's view. The stage is big and wide too and they have these really huge screens that presenters use during their sessions. I'm talking about the hall because that was where I spent the most of my time in.
The pictures I attached are from where I'm seated at the event.
Brian O.★★★★★ — I attended the TedX Nza street 2025. It was a thrilling experience. The set , stage and event expérience design was befitting with red and complementary wood tones. The interior architecture blended well with these theme and the Base
mercy O.★★★★★ — Nice place, lots of indoor game's for adult and children, no rain or sun wahala. Nice place ENUGU state
Amarachi U.★★★★★ — It was an amazing experience, the staff were helpful as well. Really enjoyed myself as there’s both adult and children activities. The only downside is that it’s awfully hot.
Nautical E.★★★★★ — Ngwo Tourist Complex consists of Ngwo Pine Forest, Caves and various hills and valleys that make for an Unforgettable time in Nature. Consider reaching out to NauticalEast Community for an Unforgettable Tourism Experience in Nigeria!
Chidinma I.★★★★★ — It was an interesting discovery.
Some tips I would recommend:
1. Go with shoes that have good grip
2. You can get rubber shoes if you mind getting your feet in the mud.
3. Wear something that dries easily in the wind if you’re thinking of entering the water
4. Have other plans if you’re gunning for more hours cause to get to the fall takes less than 2 hours. And there isn’t much else to see except that fall.
5. Don’t litter the place
6. Get a guide
