1. There is nor bar in the hotel and alcoholic beverages are not served (but you can bring yours)
2. There are very limited options for the complimentary breakfast
3. My bathroom was always leaking water all over the floor after having a shower and foot towels were not provided
4. Most of the electric sockets in my room were not working
5. Above all, their customer service needs a while lot of improvement

Good Nigerian dishes are served here;rice and stew with chicken, fish , goat or beef, there's also semovita, pounded yam, eba with variety of soups served here also.

When the attention of waiters were called to it, there was no response but a nonchalant attitude towards the whole thing. We had to shorten the dinner due to the inconvenience. Pls try to hire staff that do not lack empathy.

Adorned with an inviting ambiance & modern amenities, the resort serves as a perfect place for both leisure & business travelers. It is located just off the Abuja - Makurdi Highway at 1 Dr Ame Idoko St, off Konshisha Street, Wurukum, Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria. Positioned directly behind the O.G Winners Plaza (a GSM/assessories plaza), it is beautifully designed & constructed with burnt bricks, giving it an astonishingly natural look. By every means an exceptionally clean hotel. The rooms are equally elegant & well laid out with all the necessary amenities provided. The resort features 32 elegantly furnished rooms, each equipped with air conditioning & flat-screen TVs etc. The estimated rates range from 20,000 Naira - 60,000 Naira per night depending on the grades. Therefore, guests can choose from 3 exquisite room types, depending on your pocket or budget. The furnishings provided expectedly also follow this pattern. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also available. Smoking in rooms is strictly prohibited & may attract a huge fine if contravened. The resort features cozy rooms designed for relaxation & comfort, ensuring that you feel right at home during your stay. However, check-out is required by 11 AM, which I think is a bit harsh. An on-site restaurant churns out delicious traditional Nigerian & international cuisine. There is a well-stocked bar/lounge which is co - located with the restaurant. In addition to the main restaurant, there is a cozy lounge area where guests can relax & unwind. This inviting space is perfect for socializing with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone. There is constant electricity supported by three giant diesel generators, which are on standby for times of power failure. For events, conference halls & meeting spaces are available & adequately equipped for weddings, birthdays, corporate events etc. A fitness center/gym & laundry services are also provided. There is ample & secured parking area provided, including wheelchair-accessible parking. Uniformed security personnel are also engaged. They are very friendly. Furthermore, the staff in the hotel are extraordinarily humble, friendly & helpful when engaged. They should keep it up. Interestingly, the hotel is located just a short drive away from the Makurdi Airport (MDI), approximately 15 to 20 minutes drive. However, I don't think that this airport is presently fully functional. Signature Exclusive Resort is indeed a beautiful & functional hotel. I consider it a budget hotel due to it's affordability, putting into consideration it's natural ambience, outstanding amenities & services generally. Whether you are visiting for business or leisure, the value provided ensures that one can enjoy all the comforts of a premium stay at a fraction of the cost. My stay was a good experience

The only way to communicate with the reception or kitchen or bar was to walk to the reception.
They didn’t clean my room on day 2 even after I requested it be cleaned and stated I was retaining the room simply because I stepped out without first making payment for day 2.
I was in the toilet on day 2 afternoon when a staff knocked on my door by the time I could tidy up and come out the staff had gone and gotten a master key and let himself into the room on seeing me he started apologizing saying he thought I’d gone out.
On checkout day (Day 3) I went out to finalize my business which took longer than expected and by the time I got back at exactly 12:45pm Someone was already in my room gathering my luggage; saying he was doing so because it was past checkout time they had tried to no avail to reach me but couldn’t.
I had my phone in my hand battery fully charged, not a single call or text from the hotel.
I didn’t even have the time to argue because I had a 1.30pm bus to Abuja to catch so I just left but I told them they will see this review online and I will spread the word any chance I get.

The best thing is the ambience—small but very comfortable. However, all good things must be maintained by people, as they can either preserve or destroy any good thing. According to some guests, this hotel is the worst because the staff does not behave well and often lacks the availability of many items. If you repeat your visit to the hotel, they may take you for granted. Some staff members in this hotel lack professionalism and gratitude.
Lastly, I would appreciate the owner for building such a nice hotel with good rooms. Please invest in improving the staff's professional attributes and behavior.

It's a National museum, still appreciate it for the history. They have 2 crocodiles in the compound, that might be exciting for the kids.
