Princess L.★★★★★ — A flawless stay at El-Patevadan Hotel and Suites. The property is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the service is world-class.
Our room was spotless, luxurious, and incredibly comfortable. Every interaction with the staff was warm and professional.
A perfect five-star experience. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.
Jude D.★★★★★ — What a nice place to be. Cozy enviroment, topnotch services and good place to relax.
Ngbede O.★★★★★ — My stay at Doncont Hotel, Yenagoa was disappointing, especially considering the price. The service and room quality fell far below my expectations. I stayed in room 105.
I checked in on October 16th. The room was not fully prepared, as there were no towels. The air conditioning unit was very old, though it did cool the room effectively. I was informed that breakfast was complimentary.
On October 17th, I called the restaurant to order breakfast. I selected boiled yam with egg sauce and was told to wait in my room. After repeated calls, the food finally arrived, but it was boiled plantain and egg sauce instead. When I complained, I was informed they had run out of yam. To make matters worse, the cutlery provided was only a table spoon and a table knife, which was impractical for the meal. I had no choice but to manage with what I was given, and the food was cold.
Later, I called reception to request a towel. After waiting with no response, I proceeded to take a bath, hoping the towel would arrive. The bathroom had no individual water heater, and the hot water tap produced only lukewarm water, making for an uncomfortable bath. I had to call room service again after my bath before a towel was finally delivered.
On October 18th, I ordered an English breakfast, which was supposed to include toasted bread, an omelette, sausage, and coffee. When it arrived, there was no hot water for the coffee. I had to ask the waiter, who then left to get it. After waiting another 10 minutes, I called the restaurant again before he returned with hot water and an electric kettle. He poured water into a small tea cup and attempted to take the kettle away before I stopped him. As I settled down to eat, I realized there was no spoon to stir my tea and had to improvise with a knife. While I was doing this, there was another knock on the door: the waiter had returned to retrieve the kettle. At that point, I was too tired to complain and simply let him take it.
Overall, the consistent service failures, lack of basic amenities, and poor attention to detail made this hotel stay a poor value for the money.
Osebhajajemhen M.★★★★★ — Worst customer care experience ever. Staff are very rude, they have this air of they are doing you a favour by being there.
Michael A.★★★★★ — The location is excellent 👍
The room is nice size. There is room service. The internet is good 💯
The food is good 👍
It is noisy during the evening.
Emiperes L.★★★★★ — It's a Big NO for me....at 9.am there Gen went off, no power supply, no means of communicating with room service cos the landline was not working because of no light......till 4.oclock
Water even stopped rushing.
Nkechinyere I.★★★★★ — The hotel is old , yet expensive .
Not even a proper tissue for a standard room of 40,000.
At 8am the gen went off and never came on until i checked out at 12noon.
So its a big no no
helena E.★★★★★ — I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The environment was clean and peaceful, and the staff were consistently friendly and attentive. Every part of my stay from check-in to check-out was smooth and pleasant. I genuinely felt welcomed, and I appreciate the effort the team puts into ensuring guests feel comfortable. Highly recommended.

Blessbips A.★★★★★ — Nice place, serene and cozy. Food from the restaurant was very affordable and tasty. Friendly Staffs. I recommend 💯%. The neatness is applauded
Emmanuella C.★★★★★ — Bad customer service, the receptionist or reservation manager is very terrible. The hotel needs to do a proper training on customer service for their staff.
UVIE-ODEGHE M.★★★★★ — Disappointing Dining Experience, Poor Service and Inexcusable Food Quality
I stayed at this hotel on Sunday, September 21st, 2025, and decided to order a late breakfast. Unfortunately, the entire experience was a letdown from start to finish.
First, the menu was shockingly limited especially disappointing given the hotel's location in Bayelsa, where you'd reasonably expect access to fresh, local options like fish. Even basic staples weren’t available. Eventually, I settled for white rice with stew and iced fish — one of the very few options offered. I specifically requested that the stew be made slightly peppery.
To my surprise, what I was served was barely edible. Instead of properly cooking the pepper into the stew, they simply blended fresh pepper and poured it raw over the food. It was overpowering, uncooked, and completely ruined the meal. I couldn't eat it and had to abandon the food I had already paid for.
What made the situation worse was the total lack of accountability. I reported the issue to management, but my complaint was ignored not even a basic apology was offered.
This experience was deeply disappointing, and I expected much better service, especially for a paid meal. I would not recommend this hotel based on this experience alone.
Michael A.★★★★★ — The rooms are excellent 👍 The service is great 👍 The location is secured and easily accessible 👏👏👏
The only challenge is the electricity during the day when the power outage requires small generator. On a hot day, it's hot. By the way, no Internet or intercom. But it's a great place for value. Did I say the food is good? Yes 👍
precious I.★★★★★ — Nice ambience. Okay prices. Food is splendid. Light is constant. Large swimming pool. It's one of the nicest places around Yenagoa.
Ndukwe E.★★★★★ — This is well maintained and clean hotel with swimming pool. It is located at No. 410 Melford Okilo Road Yenizue-Gene, Opposite Genral Supermarket, Yenagoa, Bayelsa, Nigeria. It has both single rooms and suits. Suitable for events, honeymoon, and weekend getaways. Ebitare Hotels don't offer complimentary breakfast.
elsie S.★★★★★ — If there is a word that is worse than wack, the management steals from hotel users, my sister celebrated her birthday and they came and carried drinks inside her drinks claiming their staffs are stealing from them, i wonder how that is the business of hotel users.
Hotel charges a lot with no amenities, even the least fan is not in the room, not well fumigated… structure is wack and services poor. Nd instead of being apologetic, he claims his staffs are robbing him.
Ibeh V.★★★★★ — They have nonchalant workers, especially the Porter boy absolutely was so relaxed and didn't help me find where my room is as instructed, other porters help you carry your bag, this one doesn't, they have nice rooms but the service is terrible
