Gambo D. ★★★★★ : There are two locations for Dujima Hotel in Maiduguri; the old and the new. I stayed at the old one as the new was fully booked. It's a very large compound with detached bungalows each containing a small number of rooms. The room I lodged in was quite large with a large bathroom. The bed was semi orthopedic and there was a functional TV and a refrigerator I didn't bother to use. The AC also worked very well. It was at a time when power supply was decent in Maiduguri so I couldn't complain much. I can complain about the sheets though. They weren't white (I can never understand using non white sheets in a hotel) and they seemed like they weren't changed from the last user. The bathroom had gone into serious disrepair and wasn't clean at all. The doors need work and the intercom doesn't work at all. The reception was sub par and they didn't seem too bothered about any inquiries. The location is great so there's a major plus and the prices are also on the low end, relatively.
