If I knew however banking with them would be this stressful I honestly wouldn't have opened an account
Also i opened my account online I had to go in person to activate it,you need a photocopy of Your NIN and a passport photograph
You also need to pay 1k for your ATM card
I've been asked to wait 7 working days before I can do anything with my account
PS DON'T PAY FOR ANYTHING ELSE OR GIVE ANYONE CASH.(I have my reasons for saying this)

I went there to open an account for my daughter, all the staff in the retail banking group section were looking at us like dummies. Some pretending to be busy, others chit-chatting while your customers were standing in front of you. Zero customer service, all the staff are rude & so full of themselves when they are nothing. Even people earning in millions are still humble. Gtbank train your staff especially in customer service. They act uncivilised, arrogant and stupid. I'm closing my account with this useless bank called gtbank

Your would be surprised how relaxing the waiting chairs are. The hall is kept neat and secure. The top floor has the customer service units. The entrance is not so accessible by wheelchair cause of its steep stairs.
