I understood it's business and obliged, when he looked at the dog he said he must do a parvos virus test. I told him my dog is already vaccinated 8/11/2025, he the began to rant that the dog should have had 3 shots before January 2026.
This guy talks so much, and exaggerates at every opportunity, he's also fond of using only the botanical names of these sicknesses so as to make the customer think he's smart and knows what he's doing
My friends, this guy is a total quack. Back to my story, after paying 13k in total, he did the parvos virus test and the result came out negative like I expected cos my dog was vaccinated already
This means my 13k is gone all for nothing, he still hasn't rendered any aid to the dog. By the way the problem of my dog was low appetite and low activity.
He began to ask me if the dog has ticks, I said no, because I regularly use anti-ticks spray and powder. He then said he's suspecting my dog has tick fever, that's why it has low appetite. He went ahead to tell me I'll have to bring my dog everyday starting from the next day for 5 days for treatment and the cost is 75k
I told him 75k for what, how much did I buy the dog. He said it's not his business how much I bought the dog.
The problem wasn't even only that he charged 75k, his display of non-chalance is on another level. I instantly regretted visiting his store(not clinic). I told him I got no value for the 13k I paid already and you want me to pay another 75k. You didn't asign any treatment or medications or advise for the dog. I didn't even get the value for the 3k Consultation money
He was busy ranting about lots of nonsense when I left his shop in disgust
Guys this so called dr able is a scammer, avoid him. The other good reviews here are his alt accounts or friends
Nobody will go to his shop and get a good review. I wonder if he's even licensed, if he is, it's probably because this is Nigeria and anyone can be licensed
This has been my worst experience of a vet in my entire life
With respect to the review above. I'm writing this almost a month later. All I did to get my puppy healthy again was to give her antibiotics for 2-days according to a prescribed dosage by a friend. I later dewormed her again and gave her multivitamins
She is super healthy, big and strong now. Very energetic and eats a lot. The cost of every thing I spent to get her back in shape was less than #5000. Who needs this scammer for a vet lol 😆
