Eric D.★★★★★ — Greenland veterinary consult renders services beyond just treating and caring for pets brought in as it extends it's services to visiting homes and kennels to make sure the HYGIENIC NATURE of the premises where both the dogs and humans lives in, is at its peak consequently, a test usually carried out on my compound every 6months on his recommendation to some PhD students to assess the health risk of staphylococcus aureus and it methicillin-resistant strain harboured in companion dogs (canis familiaris) has demonstrated how greatly Greenland veterinary consult care for not just pets but the general wellbeing of pet owners (health wise)

james E.★★★★★ — It was a great place good service , and view too
Mary E.★★★★★ — I'm still at a loss as to where to begin with my bizarre experience at this vet. For starters, the establishment was a little store right on the road that looked everything like a regular, Nigerian patent medicine store. The only thing that would indicate you were in a veterinary were the canned dog food on the racks and their guard dog, which looked something like a short-haired Yorkshire Terrier.
I took my cat in for an emergency - I suspect she has FIP because of her stumbling walk- so I expected the vet to appreciate the severity of the problem. I was greeted by a young lady - who, to her credit, was very polite and friendly throughout our conversation - and was informed she was the vet. I explained what the problem was and what my suspicions were. I should have taken that as my first red flag when she appeared clueless as to what FIP was. (I know she had no idea because I called it FIV, and she nodded okay.)
Next thing she wanted to see my cat walk. This would have been okay except for the fact that the only available room was taken up by their little dog and another cat they had there. And my obviously distressed, terrified cat would be an unwelcome addition! Upon her insistence we placed the cat on the 'counter' which actually was the glass top of the medicine display case. At which point my scared cat decided to make a break for it and came quite close to the road! What followed was a combined effort of my daughter, the vet and I to try to get her back from under the car at the edge of the road. Eventually, my daughter crawled under the car to get her! You would expect an apology or something from the vet but instead she began to comment about how she had just that type off cat at home, blah, blah. I was so furious.
We got back in and with the cat in my arms she proceeded to 'examine' it, somewhat afraid. I warned her that it was in pain so she should proceed cautiously but she didn't really listen and eventually my aggravated cat bit me. This probably scared her so she stopped the examination but kept asking me questions about heat, mating, and if the cat likes to jump 🙄. Nothing in the direction of the FIP I mentioned.
In that moment a man walked in and began complaining about his dog at home. She then began to show him medication he could dispense, and left us standing. Another person came and was also about the ask for something before I reminded her that we had been there and hadn't come to a conclusion. She then said she felt my cat had injured itself jumping around and to watch it, but she didn't think it was anything serious. How she came to that conclusion beats me.
The thing about veterinary services in Benin is that you're in the right place if your animal is a dog or a regular farm animal like a goat or chicken. And if you're okay with being served like you're in a Nigerian flea market. Anything outside that is a pipe dream. Contricia Veterinary Concerns might be suitable for people who fall into that category, but it's certainly not for anyone who wants quality service. It was a long drive there and back, and one that I will never be making again.
Jeffrey M.★★★★★ — Great place for your pet shoping and veterinary services.
