Chiamaka O.★★★★★ — Wasn’t the best, they asked for extra payment for the ac to be put on and also for the room to be cleaned and insisted that prescriptions of drugs wouldn’t be given if the drugs weren’t bought from them, which to be honest is illegal and they also requested for an extra payment for the nurses that were attending to my sister
All in all it was a terrible experience and I would no recommend
Stone TV★★★★★ — My Experience at Triple Care Hospital
I recently sought medical care for my 6-day-old baby, who was diagnosed with severe jaundice. This was my first time at Triple Care Hospital, and I am sharing my experience across several key areas.
1. Hospital Environment
The hospital environment is welcoming and clearly tailored for children. The wall decorations and paintings create a child-friendly atmosphere, and the waiting area is adequately furnished with chairs for patient comfort.
Rating: 4/5
2. Initial Reception
The reception process was efficient. On arrival, our details were promptly recorded, a folder was opened, and payment was made without delay. Consultation and registration cost ₦22,000. Patients are even offered sweets while waiting, which is a thoughtful gesture. We were attended to by the doctor within a short time.
Rating: 5/5
3. Medical Services
Due to the severity of the jaundice, admission was required for four days. While the doctors were competent, there were noticeable gaps in communication and continuity of care. For instance, a blood test conducted on Sunday was nearly repeated by another doctor on Monday, as the handover between doctors appeared inadequate.
The nursing care also fell short of expectations. Basic responsibilities, such as applying prescribed creams, were overlooked until we specifically requested them to be carried out. Additionally, despite paying daily utility charges, it was unnecessarily difficult to gain approval for something as basic as boiling water.
Rating: 1/5
4. Accommodation
The room was visually pleasant, with good decoration and design. Unfortunately, the functionality did not match the aesthetics.
The television and air conditioner were not working.
Mosquitoes were a persistent problem, particularly at night.
The most concerning issue occurred when the solar inverter failed on a Sunday morning, leaving the hospital without power for six hours. The backup generator was also non-functional at the time. This caused significant concern, especially for babies in the ICU who were dependent on oxygen. Such lapses in power supply are alarming for a hospital of this standard.
Rating: 0/5
5. Fees
The total expenditure over the 4-day admission exceeded ₦520,000.
Phototherapy charges were particularly problematic. The hospital billed ₦15,000 per light per day, and since we used two lights, the daily charge was ₦30,000. Contrary to expectations, “per day” did not mean 24 hours; rather, the hospital charged the full daily rate each time the lights were switched on, regardless of duration.
Additional charges included:
Exchange blood transfusion
Laboratory tests
Medications
Room and utility fees
Nursing services
Doctor reviews
Admission deposit of ₦250,000
Blood grouping, screening, and matching
Overall, the charges felt exorbitant and lacked transparency. Furthermore, patients were not allowed direct access to management to discuss billing concerns.
Rating: 2/5
Overall Assessment
Overall Rating: 2.4/5 (48%)
Triple Care Hospital makes a strong first impression with its environment and reception. However, the quality of medical services, accommodation, and billing practices fall far short of expectations—especially given the cost of care.
The lack of transparent pricing, poor continuity of medical communication, unreliable facilities, and gaps in nursing responsibility left us feeling dissatisfied and shortchanged. For the fees charged, the services provided were not commensurate.
Recommendation: Based on this experience, I would not recommend Triple Care Hospital. Alternatives such as St. Mary’s Hospital and Niger Foundation Hospital may provide better standards of care.

Chikwado I.★★★★★ — A children's hospital. They have peadiatricians who specialise in caring for sick children. My children were well taken care of when they were sick. Kudos to the great team at Blue Salvia!
Amie D.★★★★★ — The hospital is nice but, it’s beginning to be managed poorly. The doctors take their jobs unseriously and arrive at whatever time that suits them. I hope this is addressed to avoid bringing this prestigious place a bad name. Or better still time of consultation should be included to avoid patients waiting for long hours.
Stanley N.★★★★★ — Please can I get Reception Contact for this Hospital
