I never expected preferential treatment but respect and patience is the very least a patient deserves. Brought my mom in today to review with the orthopedic. While at it, I decided to check my vitals on the first floor, the nurse that attended to me was so brash while asking me to wait that she was busy. She wasn’t attending to anybody but I assumed it could something else. I waited, but I felt I was forgotten and I also had a very tight timeline, I tried to remind her, then she became more rude with a very condescending tone saying “I already told you I am busy” I replied “then I have to to go” and she retorted, “if you want leave, go”
This is not acceptable. The hospital isn’t doing us a favour. I paid for their services. If I want to be rude to, I will go to the public hospitals. Don’t vent your frustrations and anger on patients! Henceforth, I will be cutting ties with Marigold hospital. What happened to me today is ridiculous and it has happened to a friend that I brought in before. I won’t allow it happen 3rd time.
