Sadiq O.★★★★★ — Freedom Park is located in the serene neighbourhood of Cambell Street, Lagos Island. A beautifully designed recreation area adjacent to the Lionbuilding Police Station is available for individual or family picnics and other relaxing activities. Side attractions include skating, live music performance bands, snooker, an in-house DJ, table tennis, bars, restaurants, and a library. I love the taste of the Asun goat meat with freshly made tigernut from one of the food vendor. I Certainly want to pay a visit again.

Faith P.★★★★★ — Visited during the Holidays and it was a nice experience. Booked my ticket online 20k and got in early so I had to wait for my time. We were ushered to a room where a little history of the house was played 🤭. After which a tour guide took us into the house…… it was fascinating and interesting at the same time. We were allowed to take loads of pictures and at the exit those who paid for VIP were given a Sovenir while others could also purchase. Met a nice girl who gifted me a mug souvenir and helped with my pictures so overall nice experience.
Halimat B.★★★★★ — Interesting place to see, we got there at the time we scheduled for plus will totally recommend paying that extra N200 on each ticket incase you run late.
There was a briefing room with video narration of how the house came to be, then ushered to the house after.
The guide on my first and second visit were very professional, helped us take great videos and photos even showed us how to pose for nice outcomes.
However, on my second visit which were VIP tickets and cost over N20,000 per person, there was no water provided after the tour, the gift store was hot and the guide claimed gift wasn't included in the tickets which stated otherwise.

Adebayo Y.★★★★★ — I visited the late legendary Fela Anikulapo shrine and home in ikeja Lagos. The place holds a lot of memories and history about the legendary musician.
A fee of 1,000 naira is being collect as entrance fee and a guide takes people around to show what the place is about and narrates the history about the place.
We were taken around alongside some other tourist and we were show some of Fela’s ablum, his rooms which houses his personal items such as his saxophone, his clothes.
We were informed by the tour guide that his clothes have been there since his demise and we were also showed his shoes too.
He was such a stylish musician I can say.
We were also taken upstairs, more like a rooftop where we saw a very big local pot called (ikokorin in Yoruba) which means “iron pot” in English.
Some souvenirs are also called on the premises at different rates such as t-shirts, caps etc.
It is a nice place and it holds a lot of history.
Nick N.★★★★★ — Only had a glimpse. My kids coming from Abroad were fascinated about the size. But they also would have loved to see inside. And perhaps meet the African royalty
Henry E.★★★★★ — Installation of 12 panels of 650watts was a success.
STEPHEN W.★★★★★ — I got my suit there. Wished I had know the store in that market earlier. Excellent customer service, so much goodies to choose from.
Mike O.★★★★★ — Tinubu Square is a small, round and compact park located within the very heart of Lagos Island. It is bordered by major roads like Broad Street, Nnamdi Azikiwe Road, Tinubu Street etc. All leading out of the Square, like arteries from the heart, to different locations on the Island.
Initially, it was named Ita Tinubu, after the slave trading merchant and woman of valour, Madam Efunroye Tinubu. Then the Square was subsequently later named by Nigeria's First Republic Leaders to Independence Square after Nigeria gained independence in 1960. Finally, its name was later change again to just Tinubu Square afterwards. Probably in an effort to make its name as simple as can be and also point to its origin of nomenclature.
Various state governments have tried to give it a face lift and increase its appeal, from the derelict outlook it once had. When it was a place of defecation, in and within its fountains, and abject delinquency. A place, where touts and homeless persons call their home.
Recently, apart from various petty traders cluttering and trading round about it. Activities which various governments have tried to stop. There is little or no park activities going on in there due to its size and location.
Anyone looking for recreation and relaxation should dare not go looking for one there. It is one of or the most busiest and horrendously noisiest place on the Island due to the traffic that has encompassed it, round about and the activities of people, too.
Consequently, it is a park of just symbolic importance. A place of historical connotation - indicating an era where Lagosains have once been, in culture, trade and its people.
Itunu M.★★★★★ — The place seems to be laced with a lot of historical happenings of past heroes. A good place for an hangout though there is a gate fee.
John A.★★★★★ — Old Lagos Prison now known as Freedom Park is a sweet cool spot for after work and weekend enjoy. Very cool calm and secure environment.
Yettydlaw P.★★★★★ — It is a great location for shoots as it gives this old vintage vibes with the classic look.
From anywhere get to CMS, locate the Lastma stand then walk into the street straight down. It is opposite conoil fueling station and inside Federal Ministry of Justice building.
It’s a trekkable distance. You can also board korope and alight at Conoil.
