Michael A.★★★★★ — Moove is a great initiative and one of the best organisations in Africa in regards to car financing, employment of labour, how ever I'm posting this base on my experience driving with moove, in our contract, its illegal for us to service or repair our vehicle on our own using our personal mechanic, and it was agreed that the vehicle will be service by moove every month being the vehicle will be working minimum of 10hours a day and 6days in a week, after picking up my vehicle from moove, it took moove 2month and some weeks to schedule me for my first servicing 2nd was about 2months too, 3rd was the only shortest which was a month and 1 week 4th was 2weeks and 3weeks 5th was 1 Month and 3weeks then the 6th one was over due from August 2 to November 23th when the oil sign came up, on an uber ride to ikeja, so I decided that I will drop the vehicle with moove at Ojota car park till they service it, just at adjacent to the car park the check engine light came up then the car short down and refuse to start, I have to push it into the car park and book it with them for immediate servicing/repair but up till today 19th of January 2024 they still have not checked my car to know exactly how to fix it. I visited them on the 8th of this month and the car was just parked there rotting away just like many others that are parked there that needs little to no repair to go back to work.
Worst was that they charge me the daily remittance of 9400 even when my car was parked with them and will promise to prorate it but will never do so. I have to chase severally before they could stop sending me daily added 9400 remittance mid December and same happened when my PM couldn't upload my insurance and inspection papers to uber as a result I can't go online to work and I was charged for the whole days, with the promise of prorating which never happened.
The management is killing the company almost all the PM and mechanic have lackadaisical attitude because its not their company and they will still be paid no matter what they do.
I guess moove have up to 3000 vehicles in lagos but 2000 out of that 3000 is park waiting repair. Management how do you want moove to pay you all when only feel vehicles are currently working. Y'all just wasting people investment.
