However, the customer service was 1000/10. Right from the moment I stepped in, I was received with warm smiles and they made me feel important. They were so respectful and we even joked a bit. I got my order on time and the icing on the cake was how delicious the food was. A 10/10 place. I would definitely recommend it to people.

The food wasn’t fresh and I should have known that when the person attending to me told me that my food was ready and that he had already ordered a delivery bike before I had even paid. I brought this up to him or her and he said he was preparing the food while I was placing the order. I asked for spicy everything and all the foods came loaded with sugar. I couldn’t eat anything and it was cold due to the food not being freshly prepared. I brought this up to them and their response was that apologies, you will get an extra protein on your next order, like protein is my problem when they couldn’t even put protein on this order I made. A very very awful experience and would never order from them ever again

I sent my security man to buy one portion of jollof spaghetti, and he came back with one portion, but I was debited for two portions. I got upset because this happens most of the time whenever I send someone to buy food. I notice the staff will serve one portion and debit for two portions. I walked into Mega Chicken with my security guard and tried explaining to one of the staff members in a white shirt. First, he was very rude to me, and after I explained the situation, he replaced the food with the actual worth of two portions of spaghetti and asked me to pay for the pack. This was clearly a mistake made by the staff, so why did I have to pay for the pack? Initially, I budgeted for one portion, but the fact that I had to pay for an unbudgeted two portions got me irritated. I also felt humiliated by the way the staff addressed me. I work very hard for my money; I do not beg or ask people for help, so it hits differently when I feel cheated financially. Instead of respectfully acknowledging their mistake, he acted as though he was justified, despite the error being on their part. It was truly heartbreaking to experience such behavior. Dear Mega Chicken Director, please you need to properly address this issue with the staff who worked on that day at that time. Your team needs better training on the importance of offering the exact services that are being paid for. This repeated behavior is becoming dubious and is highly unprofessional. I am glad I am able to express my concern, and I sincerely hope you take this into thorough consideration.

She took our orders and forgot totally about us and was serving other people. When our orders finally came, it didn't come with serving spoons and plates. After waiting for another 20-25minutes , but partner went down to complain and that was when they brought the spoons and plate. The drinks we ordered took ages,and then another staff came to complain they didn't have ice. The dumplings I ordered first, didn't arrive but they put it in our bills . Thank God we noticed. Was the foods worth of the stress we went through, it didn't at all. This is my first and last time here.

However, I noticed the portion of chicken was quite scanty compared to what I’m used to. Also, the chicken pieces were too big — almost like eating a large chunk of meat. I’d recommend cutting the chicken into smaller, bite-sized pieces. It makes it easier to eat and mixes better with the rice. Overall, good taste, just needs improvement on the chicken portion and cut size.

The meals were also affordable for the quantity and quality served. Honestly, the food was so good I completely forgot to take pictures before eating 😅 Definitely a place worth visiting if you enjoy tasty food and good value for money.

While it looked interesting, it could be a bit overwhelming for some people, so I’d recommend simply asking the waiter for the available options and recommendations. The food was affordable, and the portion size for a medium plate was generous enough for two people, with leftovers to take home. The Chapman was also really good — not watered down, overly sweet, or too tangy. It was well balanced. The wait time was slightly long, possibly because they were attending to a large group at the same time. When it was time to pay, the process also took longer than expected, but it was communicated that they were experiencing a glitch, which was understandable. Overall, the experience was good. The meal tasted great, even the next day, which says a lot about the quality. I’d definitely recommend it, especially if you’re on the mainland and craving Chinese cuisine.
