I went to a mechanic who discovered the half empty gallon of Total care 10W-40 in my boot and asked me if that was the oil I was using and I said yes. He showed me the engine oil cap in my Toyota Rav4 that says my car uses 20W-50. Oh my! I was so upset. This is a car I bought just 3 years, low mileage too. It had no other issues aside from the engine that had collected soot and required the cylinder head to be changed. Costed me so much money. Apparently, this auto service center just use any available Total product instead of sourcing for the right one for your car. Because a problem does not show up immediately, they tend to get away with it. Very wicked. I went there and they weren't even sorry. I had to bear all the cost myself. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!
