Yasmin B.★★★★★ — My sister and I got the chickendodo dish and cocktails: Sex on the beach, red passion w/ a shot of tequila. The cocktails were really good. The food was ok, would’ve liked more seasoning but the portion was perfect. Overall, service was a bit slow. We had to wait for our food for almost 1.5 hrs. Joy was an amazing server and she was the best thing that happened in this place!
Oluwa D.★★★★★ — This is my second time here in a week. The food is a hit. The ambiance is so chill with great music. And the service was great. Joy attended to us and was super attentive to me and my boys. And took great care of us. We will definitely be back. ….and one more thing we love alllll the games to entertain while we wait.
Samuel A.★★★★★ — The food was delicious, the food delivery was quick, plus I got added value which was a SWEET. Nice place to eat.
I’ll recommend this place to to anyone around this environment

Eni J★★★★★ — Saw this place on TikTok and decided to check it out cause we wanted good food at 2am. First of all, we had to wait 20 mins to be seated because we were told that all the seats were taken. When they finally sat us down we noticed that there was actually a lot of spare seats so I didn’t understand the wait. Then they said that the chairs we were sitting in was for bottle service only. We found this funny because there were other people eating around us and there was no bottle in sight but they later allowed us to continue sitting where they asked us to sit. We ordered the lamb rolls that came cold after waiting 35 minutes, we asked them to heat it up . Because they didn’t fry it, the lamb rolls were soggy and ultimately a waste of money. We then had to wait another 40 mins for the oxtail and asun lasagna which was also a disappointment…the special fried rice was okay. If you want to check this place out to tick it off your bucket list, then fair enough. But everything is easily overpriced considering the food wasn’t sweet at all. We spent over three hours here due to waiting and spent 250k for nonsense including cocktails and shisha. Can’t really recommend this place, another paid influencer spot in my opinion.
Six P.★★★★★ — Heavily detailed interior design elements in this one. Vintage, Afro feel. Very diverse menu and great staff. Enjoy #lagos
Tọlani★★★★★ — I’ve been critical of the chain previously for the sheer ridiculous portions provided that made you feel like the ‘little pig that went to market’.
Portion sizes have reduced slightly but are still value for money.
The Nkwobi I had was decent and I’d definitely order it again.
Alex A.★★★★★ — It's not my first time to this restaurant but I had d worst experience in their food taste. How can u garnish vegetables (ugwu) soup with curry/thyme? It was really tasty in d soup that I felt like 2 puke. Even d goat meat didn't taste like one, I really regret getting my lunch from there. Was very disappointed...
Martin C.★★★★★ — The dishes were very rich, tasty and filling. Loved it.
Sandra I.★★★★★ — I ordered Semo and oha with chicken and it was heavenly. The soup was really tasty with sizeable amount of stockfish and chicken pieces. Meals are freshly made so you might wait a while. I totally recommend. Plus you can takeout your remaining soup if you don't get to finish it.
Christian A.★★★★★ — It has a very conducive environment calm Peaceful and clean space
Divine M.★★★★★ — My recent visit to Magrelos Restaurant in Ogudu left me with mixed feelings. While the food was decent, I would advise being careful about which rice dish you choose, as some were not up to par. However, my experience was let down by the slow service and inattentive staff.
Although the decor was okay and created a pleasant atmosphere, the wait staff were not very attentive to our needs. We had to ask multiple times for certain items and our orders took longer than expected to arrive. Unfortunately, this slow service made the dining experience less enjoyable.
In terms of the food, some dishes were good, but the quality of the rice dishes was inconsistent. While some were well-prepared, others were not up to standard. Additionally, the portion sizes were a little on the small side.
Overall, while Magrelos Restaurant has some potential, the slow service and inattentive staff detract from the overall experience. While some dishes are good, it is important to be cautious when selecting rice dishes. All in all, I would recommend approaching this restaurant with some caution.
Olabisi O.★★★★★ — I hate what they did for me this night, i asked for amala and ogunfe, and they gave me ẹdọ for ogunfe. What did i want to eat in edo in respect of goat meat. How does it correlate. I went back there and they told me they cant change it after paying ₦2500 for it. This is really bad and fraud
Patience M.★★★★★ — Great Ambience, Poor service-Staff always looking overwhelmed and distracted, Average meals for the flagship Amala. Initially food was great but recently appearing bland.
Prime P★★★★★ — The chicken curry was full of bones. It was disappointing. Its supposed to made wirh boneless breast. All the chunks the pictures are bones not meat. So sad.
Maureen C★★★★★ — Very lovely space with a nice ambience. Mostly serve traditional meals but their portion is small. Meals are also pricey but adequate in taste. Overall, it was a lovely experience and they have an elaborate menu for local meals and also drinks. Would recommend if you're into native meals but have money. Parking space was a concern as well but location is well lit.
El D.★★★★★ — We had peppersoups, atama and banga soups with poundo. Poundo was good but soups were horrible. Had to throw the take out away. My atama tasted like it has some chemical in it and the salt was crazy. Never wasting another 81k on Ité. No wonder the place was empty.
Jewel Ok★★★★★ — I ordered take away from this vendor. The food was amazing especially their pepper soup.
Udoka I.★★★★★ — Came here with my family and it was such a great decision. For starters the place is authentically igbo and as an igbo man I loved it. They serve you palmwine and had a nice live entertainment show. Now onto the food, it was sooo delicious. We ordered a bunch of different soups bitter leaf, oha, owerri, ogbono, egusi, okra and more and every one of them was amazingly delicious the uto in ofe uto was talking to me. We also ordered isi ewu and it was one of the best I've had. Other things that were ordered was snails, beef and the village rice and they're all done very very well. Now the one caveat is that the food takes a while to come out so I'd suggest ordering ahead or imploring lots of patience. However our waitress Ms Success did the best she could and was wonderful in attending to us. We were soo impressed that we ordered a ton of food again for takeaway two days later and it was still amazing. I can't wait to visit it again
Obinna N.★★★★★ — Had a great experience! Love the decoration and tradition Igbo feel. The servers were polite and the food was good. The only downside is that the food took sometime to be ready and they didn't have Ofe Akwu which we really wanted. I'll 100 percent recommend if you want to have some good traditional Igbo meal.
