Senator A. ★★★★★ : Whenever I am in the country or Enugu for a long stay I visit this restaurant bcos it's not far from my hotel. From my last time visiting the restaurant last year. They always have issues for me or customers using your ATM card to pay. They rather request you do a transfer or pay cash. Their excuse all the time is that they have issues with their POS network machine. Fast forward again this year one year later. I visited 3 days ago they said desame thing again please do a transfer or cash. I was shocked this guys haven't improved in their payment method. I insisted in using my card & she brought out the POS and the transaction went thru with no problems. Yesterday afternoon I arrived as usual and ordered & once again I was told to do transfer or pay cash or I could go outside to do POS and I equally pay the outrageous charges for the amount of N10,800 for POS & I rejected that. The same pattern year in year out "our POS machine doesn't have network". That's a BIG FAT LIE!!!! The management are probably avoiding charges from the POS processes. That's why they prefer customers to pay them cash or transfer so they don't get to pay no percentage charges for each POS transactions that is what I figured out. It doesn't make no sense the same excuses all the time. CBN regulation body needs to look into a formal petition or complaint about such practices in this establishment. I now decided to pay in cash since I had some spare cash with me. I don't like carrying wad of cash around i carry that to pay for transportation around. Do you know this lady counted the money & I overpaid by N1,000 like 6 times or more & selected one of the naira notes in between the cash to return to me that she felt it wasn't clean enough back to me. I was already pissed & saw her select the money in between. I told her to return the note on top to me or bottom note & not the one she carefully selected. She refused so I said return my money if you don't want the rest of it that enough for the bill. She rather returned my money & denied me service. That's poor customer relationship right there. Well I had to walk out with no food & googled & tried a new restaurant down the street called Tastia. At lest they took my ATM card there without no problems. Funny enough this Dolphin made me lose my US phone bcos of this transfer thing in 2024. Bcos all my US & Nigeria banking Apps are on my US phone. After leaving the restaurant my phone must have fallen off my sweat pant joggers either on seat of the Bolt or somewhere else. So I don't leave with my phone anymore out of my hotel room, but my local line instead.

When you follow up, a completely different person answers and starts asking what you need, as though there’s no proper handover or record of previous conversations. This level of unprofessionalism is disappointing. Your management team should urgently look into this and improve the overall customer experience.

I was beyond disappointed. If anyone recommends this place to you, you can be sure that they are your enemy! If you want a better recommendation close by go to Ntachi-osa. The staff "cleaned" the seats with the broom they used on the floor. Please don't waste your money, because you will regret it. We tasted the chicken rice, jollof rice, asun rice and another rice. The beef was dry, hard and I wondered if if they even added a grain of seasoning whilst preparing it. The chicken tasted like barbecue chicken the first bite, but after that you start to question whether it is actually raw! The one good thing is their toilet, it's clean, flushes well and the sink runs. They also have sinks all over the seating area to washgour hands before eating, a tv hanging from the ceiling may also distract you. It's a restaurant, in which you will never catch me again. The parking is so limited too.

The arena is open daily, with slightly extended hours on Wednesday & Friday nights: Monday - Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 11:30 PM & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM. Thursday is from 8:00 AM – 11:30 PM while Friday is 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM. Saturday - Sunday is 8:00 AM – 11:30 PM. The place specializes in Nigerian cuisine, particularly grilled goat meat (a local favorite), succulent beef skewers, & spicy grilled chicken etc. Perfectly situated in Independence Layout, but also close to the New Haven District of the town, this grill restaurant is not just a meal stop, but a culinary journey that captures the essence of Enugu & the eastern region. The venue features a large open-air sit-out area, pool tables (snooker) & viewing centers with large flat screen televisions for live football matches. Also, it often hosts karaoke nights (typically Fridays) & live music displays on select nights. The bar boasts an extensive drinks menu (cocktails, local drinks, & wine), restroom facilities, & both free & paid exclusive parking options. Generally, the environment is "cosy," & "safe,". It is highly recommended for group outings, dates, & family gatherings. The outfit is outstanding for it's vibrant flavors with authentic taste of Nigeria, especially the grill restaurant & offerings of delicious indigenous meals in a very lively atmosphere. The favourite offerings are the grilled goat meat & fresh fish peppersoup. The fresh fish peppersoup commences with the customer having to point out the preferred fish from a pond containing numerous fishes, alive & swimming around. Then the preparation of the fish meal commences. Usually the process takes about 45 minutes - one hour. Worth the wait while you take your drinks, I will say. The weekends normally have live music & other entertainments to create a festive atmosphere. Though the facility is massive, but it won't be a bad idea to make a reservation for larger groups to ensure good seating. The ambiance is vibrant & welcoming, whether one is a casual diner or for those celebrating special occasions. Whether you desire spicy grilled chicken, succulent beef skewers, or vegetarian options, there is something to satisfy every palate. The meals are complemented with refreshing beverages, including local drinks that enhance the dining experience. To this regard, fresh palmwine is always available.
