Oyelola V.★★★★★ — My experience at the center was very smooth. The staff were nice, contrary to the reviews I read here before my appointment. I think I expected the worst but got pleasantly surprised.
I got there a little over an hour before my appointment, but I was only let in the building 10 minutes before my appointment, which was the only downside, considering there were few people outside the gate and it was very sunny.
When I got in, the document submission and biometric processes went quickly.
I forgot to bring an ATM card, and a staff member let me use his card to pay without charging me, which was nice since they do not accept cash or transfers for visa and service fees.
hyginus O.★★★★★ — Good day TLS,
I had appointment on the 08/08/2025 and I summited my documents perfectly, to get back my passport through DHL, I was later told that the processing usually take around 20 working days, today is already 23/09/2025 far more than 20 working days and I have not heard anything, please I need someone to talk to me on what is happening, I need to know if there changes in the duration of the processing.
Emeka U.★★★★★ — ICAN office provides services for chartered accounts and intending members. Membership payments and enquiries are attended to by the staff and they were friendly and professional.
The parking lot is minimal and street parking is allowed.
Akeem Z.★★★★★ — The financial sector is well known and ready for more knowledge
Peace O.★★★★★ — The process of getting certificate of origin was seamless. It was fast no extra questions or hard processes. I think they should get POS machines or means of electronic payment. I was told to bring cash. You would need a passport photograph, your NIN slip, then you fill the details that you want them to input on the certificate
Glodnuts V.★★★★★ — Finding your way to the Abia State Liaison Office in Lagos is straightforward. I wanted to share this review to help anyone planning to visit the office who may not be sure how to get there.
The Abia State Liaison Office acts as an extension of the Abia State government in Lagos. Their duty is to assist with documents and other support you may need from the state, similar to how an embassy functions abroad.
If you're on the mainland of Lagos, simply take a bus to Oshodi. From Oshodi, head to Victoria Island (V.I.), and then take a small shuttle bus to the Liaison Office, which is conveniently located along the road.
To obtain a certificate of origin, you'll need:
- A passport-sized photo
- ₦3,000
- Your village and community name in Abia State
- The name of your village chief
These details are necessary to verify that you are indeed an indigene of Abia State. Once these assessments are complete, you'll be issued the certificate, typically within 30 minutes.
I hope this review is helpful to those planning to visit the office. If you found this information useful, please click the like button. Thanks! 😊

Panam Z.★★★★★ — Best government school in Victoria island lagos
Odunayo A.★★★★★ — This is a Government College with great facilities, it's got a standard physics and chemistry laboratories. A playing is also available here where the students can do sporting activities. Interactions with the students was awesome, they are very ambitious and always want to know more. Kudos to the management. There was a recent facelift done by the #Citivolunteers and has got the school sparklight.
Ahmed A.★★★★★ — The performing Council in sub shara africa
Adedoyin O.★★★★★ — If it is possible to give this place zero star, I will. Very disorganized set of people. Everybody is rude. They claim to have only one computer system, as an excuse for attending to only ten people from 8am till around 2pm, while sneaking people who offer them money in, and delaying people who have been there since as early as 5:30am. I went there on Friday because my MTN line was barred despite being successfully linked to my NIN, they delayed us for hours, then finally said they can't help us with our problem and we should come back on Monday.
One official even told us to bring 8,000 naira so that he can give people in Abuja to help us regularise our NIN.
I think the people there are neither qualified nor competent. This is the worst NIMC office I have been to.
Tibenabui R.★★★★★ — It is adjacent number one building (where an access bank branch is) by the road side. It is not hard to locate thought the do not have good infrastructure and it doesn't look's like a functioning office . Though they are currently in operation. Here, you can get your state of origin registration done (the registration is strictly for the indigenous people of plateau state ) , and other official registrations that may concerns the state.
Anita A.★★★★★ — This is another worn out government building. It's same fashion for all the liaison offices within here. Lands are big, buildings are well structured but zero maintenance.
Ola J.★★★★★ — Can any one pls help me if I can get my state of origin here in Lagos as in kwara state origin thks top ugent
Olanrewaju R.★★★★★ — In a case of citizenship certificate ( State of origin) and any other relevant certificate from government of Kwara State in Lagos office, theis office is locked
