My visit to the place wasn't supposed to happen.
The parcel I went to pick was supposed to be delivered to me. I paid for this delivery and gave an address.
I waited all day for this item to be delivered to the supposed address only to be mentioned that the delivery person was at the address twice and it was closed.
I contacted DHL and was informed that the parcel was at this office.
I went with my brother who is the original owner of the package.
At the entrance, one has to sign into the visitors register.
When we entered the reception, we met two dhl staff - a young lady, and an older woman.
The young lady was very hospitable but were coldly welcomed by the elderly woman.
She was so inconsiderate and rude. She was asking my brother questions in a very harsh manner. I had to tell her that she should be calm with him that he is not even based in Lagos or familiar with the environment.
We laid our complain but the woman claimed that the delivery guy reported that he was at the address twice and the place was closed. I countered that cause the address given was a very popular church that is open until 9pm. This is a church that I and many other persons have used as an address to receive official correspondences, items, and co.
We even asked the woman that there were phone numbers provided the why didn't the delivery guy call any of the numbers. She ordered me to "SIT DOWN!" - I was stunned. I felt very embarrassed and insulted.
When we got our parcel, this same woman asked us to be happy and tip her.
I couldn't just imagine everything happening.
