Ebunoluwa K.★★★★★ — Vog and wod bookstore is an amazing one. I got the books I wanted and I also saw other inspiring books. All Gen-z should get a book from them.
Ebunoluwa A.★★★★★ — They've got really beautiful and educating materials, at friendly prices. Great customer service too! I'll definitely come visiting again.
MacBobby C.★★★★★ — Went to Ouida to work and buy books 2 days ago.
For the book store, You’ll find mostly Nigerian books by new authors here.
You’ll scarcely find foreign books and self helps. I learned that they help shortlist and publish for upcoming authors. So if you need help getting published; they have a publishing house.
For the working space, you get Starlink and limited sitting area. You also get to meet approachable people too.
For the restaurant, you get cheaper meals that are very delicious. The fried plantain and egg bangs, the pepper soup is very tasty.
For the ambience, the attached pictures says everything.
Angela★★★★★ — This is a beautiful bookstore with a workspace where you can have virtual calls, team meetings or just work outside your home for the day.
They have various food options to choose from. I had their rice, Peopersoup, zobo and puff puff.
Everything tasted great.
The workspace comes with access to their WiFi.
The environment is clean and serene.
Service is excellent.
It’s also well minted so everywhere looks good.
Ola D.★★★★★ — # Lanterna Book Shop's New Chapter in Victoria Island
I've long been a fan of Lanterna Book Shop, and I was excited to visit their new spot at Adeola Hopewell in Victoria Island after their move from Oko Awo VI. To help others find it, I snapped pics of the new building and its opposite as landmarks and took a short interior video.
The new building has an inviting facade that fits well with the area. It's more accessible and visible, a smart move to draw more customers.
Inside, the familiar smell of books greeted me. The layout is well - organized with neatly arranged shelves by genre. There are cozy seating areas and perfect lighting, making it a great place to browse.
The book selection remains diverse, with best - sellers, classics, and hard - to - find titles. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to assist and offer recommendations.
Lanterna's move is a definite upgrade. It provides a better shopping experience in terms of location, layout, and ambiance. If you're in the area, don't miss this book lover's haven.

Ackin O.★★★★★ — Rovingheights Surulere will be hard to miss on the Ogunlana drive road. It is located just by the roadside and it is quite the place with a large catalogue of books you might be interested in purchasing. The staff are friendly and helpful.
There's a parking space just outside the store.
Afolabi Z.★★★★★ — It’s a nice bookstore, the staff were helpful. However, they don’t have most of the books we wanted and there was no packing space
James N.★★★★★ — Alot of great books to buy and read.
Modupeola F.★★★★★ — Very impressive from scriptural items
to books, edibles, anointing oil etc prices are quiet affordable. Will visit this store again.
Oritsela★★★★★ — Truly my happy place! Once I land, I make a beeline for my favourite bookstore. A joy for the senses of any avid reader.
Kingsley U.★★★★★ — Roving Heights is more than just a bookstore; it's a vital hub for readers and writers, particularly within the African literary scene. It offers a well-curated selection of titles, balancing contemporary bestsellers with a strong focus on African literature, which can often be hard to find elsewhere.
What truly sets Roving Heights apart is its commitment to the reading community. The bookstore's online presence, especially its blog, features insightful reviews beyond simple summaries. They dive into the heart of the books, discussing themes, characters, and the cultural relevance of the stories. This isn't just a place to buy books; it's a place to discover them and engage with the ideas they contain. The prompt and efficient service, whether ordering online or visiting a physical location, adds to the overall positive experience.
In a world where bookstores can feel a bit impersonal, Roving Heights stands out for its passion for storytelling and its dedication to fostering a love for literature.
maryam S.★★★★★ — I ordered from the website and I found most of the books I was looking for and the prices seemed decent. Paid for delivery and they said it’d take 24 hours to ship but it was shipped 2.5 hours after I placed the order. The delivery person kept calling me and keeping me updated up until the point of delivery. And right as they delivered my order, I got 2 separate calls to confirm that I got my order and that it was complete with no complaints and they said call back at anytime if I had any. 10/10 customer service.
Sarah G.★★★★★ — Directed by google map, I walked in to get a gift for my teenage inlaw. Books we asked for were out of stock so we picked randomly & she loved it. Second visit, most of the books I asked for were 'out of stock'. It's such a cozy store however. Especially that sitting corner. Next time I visit, I'll sit and read a book there
OTega F.★★★★★ — I was here for a Book Launch - for Stella Damasus.
I loved every bit of the place especially the fact that there were hard cover books.
People hardly read these days.... Especially from Hard Covers.
I picked up 2 books though. Though I can't remember the names.... I'm sure I read them cover to cover.
Thanks BN.
Anyanwu P.★★★★★ — The Paperback Plug Stationery & Bookstore is one of the best book plugs out there. Excellent customer service. If you are in search of rare books - Paperback Plug has to be the place.
Odesola E.★★★★★ — I have bought books from different stores in Nigeria, but Jasper Books Nigeria Limited stands out. They are reliable, affordable, and most importantly, trustworthy. I feel confident buying from them, knowing I will always get quality service and genuine books.
Raheem R.★★★★★ — Shopping at Jasper Books was such a refreshing experience. They had titles I couldn’t find anywhere else, and the staff went out of their way to assist me. It’s rare to see a bookstore in Nigeria that truly cares about customer satisfaction, and Jasper Books nailed it.
M R.★★★★★ — A well curated collection of books for children and young adults. They have now moved to 11b Bayo Kuku, the next door compound.
A better location because when you go through the gate, the bookstore is right in front of you. It occupies the ground floor of a house.
Amie A.★★★★★ — World have given a zero star rating if possible. How can you chat them for information, they keep coming online but never respond to your message nor acknowledge it. Totally disappointing and I think I’m seeing reasons even before going there to agree with those that have given negative reviews.
They should close down if they are not ready to do business.
