The staff are friendly, ticketing/check in protocols adequate and excess luggage payments very seamless. Facility-wise, conveniences are clean and well maintained,and the waiting areas are clean and confortable too. Although the International wing has been commissioned, as at the time of this review, full International flight operations are yet to resume there. But in all, yea, this airport, though a bit compact, is cool for the current level of its operations.

I was like ''What !?! ''. Fast forward, I got to Lagos, paid N25000 to get to my destination, and paid another N25000 to get to the airport and another N25000 to get back to my destination. I was very furious. Fast forward again, I got to the airport to get back to Akwa Ibom, and I was told the same thing: my luggage wouldn't be following me again. I had to wait till the next day to get my luggage. I would like to know exactly what they are carrying on the plane that my luggage and many others can't follow us on the plane. Only a few, like 10-15 pieces of luggage, were there. Ibom Air, I don't know what's going on, but please find a way to fix this. Thank you.

That alone was frustrating, but the situation got much worse at the airport. We were suddenly informed without any prior notice that we could not travel with our luggage, and that it would only be delivered after 24 hours. This is completely unacceptable. I had important items in my luggage that I needed the very next day, and no one had communicated this policy ahead of time. To make matters worse, I was told to buy a small bag and randomly pick a few items to carry onboard. How is a passenger supposed to decide what essentials to leave behind under pressure like that? My final destination is Eket, not Uyo, so this situation will force me to spend extra time and money traveling back to Uyo just to retrieve my luggage, at my own expense. This is highly inconvenient and unfair. Because of this experience, I was unable to carry out the purpose of my trip. A lot was at stake, and this disruption has had real consequences for me. Ibom Air needs to seriously improve its communication and passenger handling. This experience was stressful, disorganized, and completely avoidable. ⭐ 1/5 - I do not recommend.

The driver suddenly decided to go to Ojuelegba instead of Ajah because 1 of their staff is riding with us (for free) to Ojuelegba. So, we the customers who "PAID" for the journey were abandoned on the road without any compensation whatsoever! While a capital luxury staff who is traveling free of charge is prioritised. The annoying thing is they didn't inform us before booking, only to tell us when we're already at Ijebu ode. Worst transport company & service. 😒
