DEBORAH A. ★★★★★ : I was at the Ace supermarket in Ilorin yesterday to get Fanice ice cream, kiwi shoe polish and an unfrosted small cake. The supposed 1L (well 900g) ice cream contained ice cream that was less than half of the container itself. Not to talk of how awful the ice cream tasted. The cream had separated from the sugar. The cream was at the top (tasteless) and the sugar under. It was a pure waste of money. I was really surprised because several years ago when I used to get ice cream from their supermarket, it was always really nice but now, it is completely nonsense and waste of resources. The Kiwi shoe polish was terrible too, smelling like oil, obviously fake, couldn't even use that, had to throw it away. Completely different from the kiwi polish I buy from other stores in Ilorin. The cake.. hmm... It tasted as if raw butter (that wasn't creamed at all) was mixed with flour and sugar and baked. It tasted so awful. Unfortunately for me, I bought 2, I ate only half of the 1st one and couldn't cope to eat the remaining. Very bad experience!
