They also do NOT offer alternatives to buying nylons after shopping. Apparently by the directives of the LSG on recycling plastics they no longer pack your groceries in shopping bags but fail to profer an alternative, that should be fixed, especially for first time shoppers.

It wasn't a surprise to find Kerasi products on their shelves, especially my favourite, Kerasi Fufu Flour. I also never leave without picking up a meat pie and some Badia spices. The supermarket is easy to locate, strategically positioned, has ample parking space, and always makes shopping convenient. Definitely one of my go-to supermarkets in Gbagada.

Customer service is 1/100 with nonchalant staffs at the counter and also expensive goods. A body spray I got for #3,050 at Justrite is sold for #4,200 there but they would still act sluggishly to check your goods out.

If you live in Iyana Oworo, you'll hardly have any reason to make the long drive to Gbagada or any other part of the traffic-prone town. PayDay is quite well stocked. I've been quite impressed seeing some items there that I didn't find in some other big stores in the heart of town. I like the personnel too, they're quite generous with a smile. Don't take my word for it though. Like most people, they have no-so-pleasanr days and may not easily crack a smile at your 'good morning' 🙂. Unlike many super marts in town, I've yet to see PayDay open early on a Sunday or at all. So if you want to grab a quick Sunday morning breakfast, best you plan to do it Saturday night. Iyana Oworo was quite a notorious area, so perhaps you won't blame them for closing early and opening late. Overall, lovely store. Well done PayDay and team.

When the store started out, they used to have air condition surrounded, also have almost anything grocery, but all of a sudden, they open their doors down and windows too, which is kinda weird tho lol. I won’t blame them anyways, the location they are situated is quite low in standards. That aside, they some times don’t have your needed items, something you figure out a supermarket should have readily available, you’d go there and find out they don’t have it available. I mostly coke here to get fuel for my car, and patronize their store twice in a month to grab a drink on the go.
