Victor C.★★★★★ — Tbh it has a very nice view. Overall everything about the Hotel in great. But idk about the room services and hygiene, cause tell me why I went to the receptionist to collect my room key cause reservations were made in my name ahead of time and I go to my room and the bedsheet is stained and looks like shit, I’m sorry for using that word but you guys can definitely do better.
That’s the picture below. I haven’t even settled in completely and I’m having second thoughts….

Lumese★★★★★ — My stay at Tahir was a mostly pleasant experience.
The hotel has an impressive ambience and feels like a mini city, with additional facilities like a salon, diners and other services on-site. My room was big and comfortable the bed was soft, the AC worked quite alright.
I had an issue with the shower on the first night however, but after reporting it the next morning, it was fixed before I returned from work that day, which I appreciated.
The highlight for me was the breakfast buffet. There was a great variety of food, and I enjoyed every meal without any digestive issues (which is rare for me when eating out).
Overall, not the best hotel I’ve stayed in, but a solid experience.
Atika E.★★★★★ — Speaking from a perspective of someone who visited 11 states in Nigeria, this was the most unpleasant experience and I can't wait to leave tomorrow as early as I can. The shower is old and broken and imagine not having a proper shower the moment you arrive from the airport, the water is leaking from somewhere with no drainage on the floor, the AC remote is not working I have to sleep with 17°c temperature and wake up during the night to turn it off, my door sensor is not working properly so I have to ask the security to help me every time I am entering my room, the hotel is too crowded I don't understand why and you hear cars beeping continuously and too many people are walking and shouting in the corridors until 1AM. The WiFi is not strong so I have been using my own data throughout my stay. I am just managing because I am staying for 2 nights only. I will leave well before the time of my check out to avoid more unpleasant incidents.
Jesse O.★★★★★ — The Hotel experience was okay. Quiet environment, lovely service. 24/7 light and wifi. Though I didn't rely on the WiFi for personal reasons.
The hotel restaurant was good, nice food but a bit pricey but good. I mean the quality and quantity is right.
The hotel staff are respectful and nice.
The hotel also provides a ride service for anywhere you'd like to go, especially if you are hurrying to catch a flight at the airport.
I'll recommend the hotel if you find yourself at Burma Road, Sabon Gari. Kano. If you are just looking for a stay in Hotel for a couple of days.

Their customer service is also top-notch. Delivering service as quick and neat as could be.
The environment is also quiet, and devoid of irritable things.
This is one place I will fully recommend without a second doubt.

Ibrahim S.★★★★★ — Located at 1 Bompai Road, the Grand Central Hotel is one of Kano’s most iconic and well-established lodging destinations. It is a 4-star property that bridges the gap between the city’s historic Sabon Gari district and the modern business areas.
