Darul Hadith was established by Sheikh Ahmad Ibrahim Bamba, who was a senior Muslim scholar in Kano, Sheikh Bamba used to be an Arabic language instructor at the Bayero University Kano but resigned and established his own Islamic school which is named Darul Hadith, it was called Darul Hadith due to the Sheikhs prominency in reciting the Six Books of Hadith, till his last breath there's no a day that the Hadith of the Prophet (S.A.W) was not recited, Allah Ya jiqan sheikh ahmad.
