- Tobi T. ★★★★★ : I am incredibly angry, hurt, and frustrated by everything about my experience with Jossigraphy Photo Studio. I received hardly any bridal portraits, none of my must-have shots from my wedding day, and I’m missing important family formal photos. The images I did receive were poorly shot and edited. Even though he admitted fault, he has refused to provide any of the raw images, even though I know more photos were taken, or offer any kind of refund to make things right. Things started going wrong early on. As soon as I paid in full, he messaged me on Instagram to say he would be sending an associate to shoot my wedding instead of doing it himself. When I asked for clarification, he referred back to the contract stating that associates could be used. He assured me this was someone he worked with frequently and that he would brief them thoroughly about me and my wedding. However, on the wedding day, everything began to fall apart. I spoke directly with the “associate,” who told me she had never worked with him before and believed she had been hired as a second shooter, not the main photographer. She was never given any of my inspiration photos or key details about the day, and she had messages to back this up. The associate sent to photograph my wedding was only 18 years old and clearly far less experienced than what I had been promised. The situation became chaotic and stressful. At one point, she became overwhelmed and started crying during family photos, and my bridesmaids had to step in to calm her down so she could continue. As a result, all of my important “must-shoot” moments were missed. There was little to no direction given, so my bridal party photos came out poorly. There were not enough photos overall, and many of the poses were unflattering. The final images I received were nowhere near the quality shown in Jossigraphy Photo Studio’s portfolio. Honestly, I received better photos from guests’ phones. The photos that were supposedly edited were clearly not properly retouched. There are visible distractions like water bottles, poor lighting, and unflattering facial tones that could have easily been corrected. In addition, my engagement shoot was never scheduled. He later claimed it was too late and offered a post-wedding couples shoot instead, but never followed through or set a date. After everything that happened, that offer is meaningless. It feels like he never cared about my wedding at all. It seems like he took the job for the money and put in minimal effort, outsourcing it to someone unprepared and unqualified without ensuring they had the information needed to do the job properly. You only get one chance to capture your wedding day, and I feel completely let down. After the wedding, I initially asked for a partial refund, which he refused. At the time, I chose to let it go because I still wanted my photos. But after receiving an incomplete and disappointing gallery, I reached out again asking about missing images. He has since ignored my messages and blocked me on Instagram. To anyone planning their wedding, please thoroughly vet your photographer before trusting them with such an important day. I regret ignoring the early red flags. I put my trust in someone who ultimately failed to deliver on every level.
- Afreebmart M. ★★★★★ : I hired this photographer for a burial and unfortunately the experience didn’t meet expectations. Communication was slow leading up to the shoot, and some agreed details weren’t followed on the day. The final photos took longer than promised to be delivered, and when they arrived, several were out of focus or poorly edited. I also didn’t receive all the shots we discussed beforehand. I appreciate the effort, but overall I was disappointed given the price and expectations set. I’d recommend clarifying timelines, deliverables, and editing style in detail before booking.
