I am deeply disappointed with the level of care provided by this private hospital. The nurse assigned to my mother left her unattended for hours, without administering her prescribed medication or providing any form of proper care. This level of negligence is unacceptable, especially in a healthcare environment where patients’ well-being should be the top priority.
It is also very clear that the hospital is severely short-staffed, which directly affects the quality of service and patient safety. Despite paying ridiculously high fees, the staff appeared careless, disorganised, and unprofessional, showing little sense of urgency or compassion.
For a private hospital that charges such exorbitant rates, the standard of care is far below what is expected. I would not recommend this facility to anyone seeking reliable, attentive, and professional healthcare.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Modic Hospital in Benin. The level of service provided by the lab technician during my visit was appalling and left me feeling disrespected and unheard.
One of the most concerning incidents occurred when the lab technician refused to change her gloves before drawing my child’s blood. It was clear that she had been using the same gloves while moving chairs around, which raised serious concerns about hygiene and infection control. When I brought this issue to her attention, expecting her to rectify the situation, she responded with blatant disregard and rudeness. She callously stated that the gloves could not be mismanaged and insinuated that I should leave if I wasn't satisfied with her glove use.
The technician's response was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. As a patient, I expected to be treated with dignity and have my concerns addressed in a respectful manner. Unfortunately, this was not the case at Modic Hospital.
The incident highlighted a severe lack of proper training and adherence to basic hygiene protocols. It is essential for healthcare professionals to prioritize patient safety and maintain a clean and sterile environment, especially when it comes to procedures involving blood draws or any form of invasive testing. The lab technician's refusal to change gloves and her dismissive attitude towards my concerns completely undermined my trust in the hospital's commitment to patient care.
I strongly urge Modic Hospital to take immediate action to address this matter and ensure that all staff members receive proper training on infection control especially the lap tech with low cut hair. Who worked 18/ 07/ 2024 and patient communication. It is essential for healthcare providers to be empathetic, respectful, and responsive to patient concerns in order to establish trust and provide quality care.
My experience at Modic Hospital was not only deeply disappointing but also concerning. I sincerely hope that the hospital administration takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. Patients deserve to receive care in an environment where their safety and well-being are the utmost priority.
