Tomas J.★★★★★ : A great insurance broker to work with. Very reputable. They work hard to bring the best insurance product to the customer. Very pleased
Idrees A.★★★★★ : A good insurance company to partner with.
Maksat K.★★★★★ : The most useless customer care goes to gtb funds manager. They will put uou on hold for 15 minutes and not still answer you. Dont waste your time calling their customer care, just walk into their office.
Alamu O.★★★★★ : Good insurance with nice staffs, Mr Enitan and Mr Jeffrey are very good staffs...
Chukwuma O.★★★★★ : I had a very disappointing experience with Sovereign Trust Insurance after an accident involving my Toyota Highlander.
After my vehicle was hit and had to be towed for repairs, I submitted a comprehensive claim with all required documents, photos, and repair estimates. Instead of handling the claim professionally, the company drastically reduced the actual repair costs to unrealistic figures that do not reflect real market prices.
For example, they claimed a Toyota Highlander could be towed for ₦20,000 and reduced legitimate repair costs such as painting and bodywork far below the actual cost required to restore the vehicle properly. Anyone familiar with accident repairs knows that front-end damage requires full panel blending and proper finishing, not patch work.
The process has been slow, frustrating, and unprofessional. I had to escalate the matter to the Nigerian insurance regulator (NAICOM) because of the way the claim was handled.
Insurance is supposed to give peace of mind during difficult situations. Unfortunately, my experience with Sovereign Trust Insurance has been the opposite.
Based on this experience, I will not be renewing my policy with this company and will be moving to another insurance provider that treats customers fairly.
If you are considering insurance coverage, make sure you carefully evaluate how claims are handled before choosing a provider.
