- pinkpearl D. ★★★★★ : I am extremely disappointed with the quality of service provided by Axa Their customer service is virtually nonexistent. The representatives are rarely able to provide meaningful assistance or resolve issues, making an already stressful situation even worse. The company appears to prioritize cutting costs over patient care. They often recommend the cheapest treatment or medication instead of what has actually been prescribed. I was even told that a medication costing just ₦18k was not covered under my policy, despite paying for health insurance. The most upsetting experience was when I was in a critical condition and had to wait for treatment approval. The delay was so serious that I eventually had to be treated as a private patient because I couldn’t afford to wait any longer. No patient should have to worry about administrative delays during a medical emergency. I pay for health insurance to have peace of mind, not to fight for necessary care when I need it most. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I sincerely hope they improve their customer service, review their approval process, and put patients’ health ahead of cost cutting.
