I called to follow up on my NHIS approval and the lady who picked the call simply said it was not ready without even asking for my hospital number or name. I asked how she knew, and she said there was no approval given and dropped the call. I have called back sparingly at least 5 times and no one picked. I had to call my HMO to find out that approval was granted days ago.
I have had other similar experiences in the past which made things more difficult.
