Yarison H.★★★★★ — This location has been wrongly placed I just had to go search for the correct location so we can add to the map and everyone looking for this place will see it
Modu B.★★★★★ — Simple Estate to raise your Children, Moderate, quiet and secure environment
Dee B.★★★★★ — Google should note that there is Cowries ‘Estate’ and Cowries ‘Court’, they are two different estates.
Cowries Estate is a small homely estate on Emmanuel Mbaka boulevard.
This estate houses barely 60 compounds and has a central water system.
It is serene but needs a little touch here and there; in terms of sanitation.
Ahmed Y.★★★★★ — Nice place to live, but the road to the estate gets busy with traffic mainly in the early evening.
kakam N.★★★★★ — Abuja like I will always state is a city of estates. All family & income classes prefer to live inside estates. This arrangement invariably ensures they enjoy the advantages of communal existence. Centralised security (including access control), thrash disposal, water supply, common play grounds etc. Trademore Estate is an emblematic example of this inference. Located along Emmanuel Mbaka Boulevard, off the Airport Expressway & aptly named after the founder of the estate). Constructed in 2007, the estate brought significant attention & development to the surrounding areas. It is one of the largest Estates in Nigeria & consists of 2 bedroom semi detached bungalows and 3 bedroom fully detached bungalows, to cater of the housing needs of different family sizes and income groups. The estate has 2 gates used for both entrance & exit. Viewing the estate from surrounding higher grounds, one can see a sea of orange roofs dotting the landscape. This spectacular sight is testimony to the good planning of the estate from the beginning. The estate is a very prominent & populous large-scale residential development in Abuja, housing thousands of residents. Apart from the middle & lower income sections, there're also some high end affluent & gated sections within the estate. It is apparent the the residents are affected by burglaries associated with such densely populated areas. Despite it's massive land size, it is well fenced & features a gated environment with tarred roads, uniformed security, a police post etc. There're several businesses in the estate; schools, hospitals, pharmacies, supermarkets, boutiques, lounges & even hotels. There is even a market located within the estate. Also, some popular religious denominations have massive churches here. Therefore, the estate serves a dual purpose of providing housing for residents as well as hosting multiple businesses & religious centers. Indeed, Trademore Estate can be classified as a mini urban city. A burgeoning street market has even evolved into front of the estate in testament to the huge population therein. Prominent landmarks close by include Lugbe Federal Housing, Novare Gateway (Lugbe Mall or commonly called Shoprite Mall), National Space Development & Research Agency & the Voice of Nigeria (VON) transmission station. However, irrespective of its popularity, the estate has faced significant challenges or adversities. The outstanding issue being that of recurring severe seasonal flooding. The last experience occurring in June 2024 when heavy rains caused extensive damage, leading to the destruction of homes & vehicles, with reports of missing persons. It is usually a pathetic sight seeing houses & the bridge/culvert in front of the main estate gate submerged by water. Even the police post is not spared this ordeal. Due to this consistent threat, the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) had previously declared parts of the estate a disaster zone. Consequently, there have been an urge for relocation due to its location in floodplains & recurring government plans to demolish hundreds of houses built on waterways to mitigate feature flood risks. Residents have vehemently protested these moves, advocating for better channelization & drainage instead of demolition. There have been concerted efforts to find solutions like infrastructure upgrades, expansion of the cannal & limited demolitions of some obstructive structures. Residents & govermental agencies point to a high volume of water from upstream areas like Galadimawa with official conivance & construction on floodplains respectively. The estate is a significant housing project, but residents constantly battle heavy seasonal floods that submerge homes & vehicles, raising serious concerns about safety. Trademore Estate offers extensive housing options for all classes in the society, but this comes with significant risk due to recurrent flooding, making it a critical issue for residents, city planners & the government
Apostle A.★★★★★ — Review:
Clobek Crown Estate, Abuja
Clobek Crown Estate truly feels like home to me. The security is excellent, which gives great peace of mind. The water supply is reliable and adequate, and the electricity supply is commendable, making daily living very comfortable.
The environment is clean, well-maintained, and adequately ventilated, creating a pleasant and healthy atmosphere. The rooms are standard, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, suitable for both comfort and functionality.
I have never regretted staying here, and I honestly do not see myself regretting it anytime in the near future. Clobek Crown Estate offers a calm, secure, and well-organized living experience in Abuja.
