    Recent reviews

    • Ajiboye O. ★★★★ Nice serene environment for a getaway, though you pay for everything separately, gate fee, space in the huts, boat ride, so best to check in with them before coming.
    • Funmi A. ★★★★★ I'll divide my comment based on the restaurant experience and the environment. First of all, locating the place was not as straightforward as I anticipated it would be. I made the mistake of alighting at the junction. The signboard was prominent at the junction, and that was it. It took me making a wrong turn and asking a passerby for direction before I was able to locate the entrance to the resort. THE SERVICE 1. Positives: The jollof rice, goat meat, and shawarma were delicious. And then it went downhill from there. 2. Negatives: I was not particularly impressed with the esthetics of the restaurant. I saw that the ceiling was lined with some heavy duty water proof cloth. Very tacky something. In addition, the staff were super polite but not professional. For instance, one of them was singing at the top of her voice to the already blaring stereo while we were eating. How in the world will someone be singing loudly in the presence of diners when is not that village people are following you bumper to bumper? Secondly, when I remarked that I needed more mayonnaise for my salad, one of them told me to move my plate of food closer to the counter, and a teaspoon of mayonnaise was dropped on my plate. Lastly, I was shocked to discover that my goat meat was more than 50% bones. It felt as though I paid to use my teeth to crack bones. I was not pleased at all, and I let the staff know. ENVIRONMENT Very calm, beautiful, and serene environment. It is a place for meditation, rejuvenation, and making some divine connection with nature. The layout is beautiful as well. However, more attention should be given to maintenance. While taking pictures, I noticed that there were used plates, cups, and cutlery on the outside table that had not been cleared. I could have rated my experience a 2, but I'll leave it at a 3. I hope to see an improved version of you with better service when I vist next time. GATE FEE: 500 naira

    • Cynnie C. ★★★★★ The visit was a beautiful experience, but the park's infrastructure showed signs of wear, with dilapidated buildings and security that could be improved. Fortunately, a World Bank-funded rehabilitation project is underway, which I hope will not only enhance the facilities but also lead to an increase in animal numbers and better care for them upon completion.
    • Michael E. ★★★★★ It's an old park and not perfectly maintained for commerce, and international tourism. But it serves as an alternative lifestyle to local and international tourists like me who have come all the way to Jos to document history. It is expected that as a national park, it should be better maintained and positioned for international tourism. I sponsored 5 other persons to this tour.

    • Peter B. ★★★★★ The waterfall is definitely worth a stop to admire nature. However the place is littered with trash, bottles and plastic bags. The immediate area is an unofficial truck repair stop. It requires simple maintenance and effort which as of 2023 is not made by Plateau state.
    • PRECIOUS M. ★★★★★ This my second time here and it always refreshing 😍 This time around the tourist that was to give us a brief history about the Asop falls was not on desk 🥹 hopefully next time I will get every detail and pen it here.
