The dealer sold me a Lexus GS 300 with a bad gear and feigned ignorance when I told him about it.
I bought a car from him 18/9/2022, less than 12 hours after buying the car it wouldn’t reverse. I couldn’t use the car for an entire week; dealer kept saying car had never been touched and was ok. But how do you explain that a car I bought from you in less than 12 hours already had issues and you claim not to know about it.
I spent more than 140k trying to diagnose and fix the gear, eventually we realized the gear had been worked on by previous owner and in bad shape. No fix was possible other than to replace the gear.
I paid 2.940k for that car. He clearly sold me a lemon, I’m disappointed that he sells pristine tokunbo cars but chose to add this LEMON to his lot and sell to me.
This has been a painful experience and would have to let go of the car for less than half of the price I purchased less than two weeks from when I purchased it.
