    • Oluwaseun A. ★★★★★ While I appreciate the staff's friendliness, I several issues during my stay that need attention. The hotel had a deserted feel, and the initial room we were assigned required navigating multiple steps and corners, with a non-functional elevator. The AC wasn't working, and there was no water in the shower. We were then moved to a 'family suite' that felt cramped. The food smelled off, with the meat tasting like it had been refried. The in-room telephone didn't work, the bathroom had an odor, and the window didn't close properly. Overall, the hotel needs significant upgrades to improve the guest experience.
    • Lionel O. ★★★★ The worst experience in Nigeria. An absolute disgrace. I came to Nigeria for the first time in 21 years with my wife and infant child. I opted to book a more costly hotel for convenience. Unfortunately, the experience went from bad to worse: 1.Ant infestation in two rooms 2. Unclean room and dirty toilet brush 3. Fridge was dirty 4. No toilet roll in the bathroom When we arrived in the evening we informed the staff that there were ants in our room. After some delay we were moved to a second room with broken furniture, flies in the room, and more ants. It was about 9 PM so we asked for a refund and transfer to a different hotel. They refused to refund us and said there was no issue with the room. Thank God my mum who was staying in a nearby hotel came to drop food for us because we were disrespected by the staff and would have had no opportunity or way to leave this filthy hotel at night. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. THEY ARE DIRTY AND STEAL YOUR MONEY. VIDEO EVIDENCE IS AVAILABLE IF THE HOTEL WANTS TO DISPUTE OUR CLAIMS.

    • Chiamaka N. ★★★★★ Not fully operational all the time. But the one time I used it, it was fun.
    • Oluwatobiloba O. ★★★★ Located within the Staff Quarters of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State. Nigeria, the staff club swimming pool is a good place to relax. The pool is well maintained, large and has both deep and shallow sides; amateur and professional swimmers would enjoy this pool. A lifeguard is always on duty whenever people are in the pool. Swimming trunks and aids are also available here and will be provided on request. This place also has a bar and a suya spot which is active especially at night. Nevertheless, the changing room needs to be renovated.

    • Timileyin O. ★★★★ I had a fun time at De Exotic swimming pool. Make no mistake, I didn’t get the BEST experience but I believe this can be improved. Let’s start with the good part. 1. The pool area is a very big space (Olympic size) with most part being 4ft deep. That’s a very large space for anyone to move around and enjoy swimming. 2. Entrance fee is very affordable @ #1000 per person (Dec 2025), open 9am to 7pm. You can also rent swimming wears @ #500. 3. Since the pool is very big, you also get to have fun with other people and play water games. Now to the not so good part: 1. The deeper part (diving area) of the pool was very dirty and kept unclean.. although it is restricted; normal swimmers are not allowed to go there, the dirt still flows around in the pool… and even the bigger accessible area (4ft) is not as clean as you would have expected. I was just trying my possible best not to swallow the water… cos I can clearly see small chunks of algae swimming with me. Some floor parts remained slimy. (As you would see in the pictures) 2. The changing room to put on/off your clothes had some toilets in it and these toilets were kept unclean. The place was stinking and I had to hold my breath to change my clothes. Management should please ensure these rooms are frequently cleaned. And that’s it, that’s my honest review about De Exotic swimming pool. I hope to come back here another time, and I really do hope that the conditions will be much more better by that time.

    • Oluwseun O. ★★★★ It is a moderately spacious event centre located beside the main road in Opa, well fenced and neat environment. It shares a boundary with Restoration garden (not in the same compound).
    • Ezekiel P. ★★★★★ A fine place to organise a small event. The hall is not large, but there are available rooms for lodging.
