Patience M.★★★★★ — This is one of the former gateway hotels in Ogun located in Ijebu. This hotel has definitely seen better days and is in need of renovations. The roof on some floors was dripping water.
•At the price point of 70k for a day for a standard room and the location, this was not worth the price.
•The amenities involved a pool, tennis court, football pitch, cinema all in need of renovations and maintenance.
•Service was not really adequate as there was just one staff in charge of the front desk.
This hotel was definitely built with the aura of the 4 and 5 star hotels flagship style but lacking maintenance and in urgent need of a renovation. There are bushes surrounding the compound which should at least be tended to. I believe the hotel was concessioned to a private organization and is no longer govt managed.I did not use the facility due to these factors.
Marcus K.★★★★★ — Michael, the owner is very nice. The place is nice and safe. swimming in the creek was fabulous. Totaly recommended. The only thing what is a bit annoying is the traffic noise from the street.
Adekoya A.★★★★★ — Yemoji river is cool, neat and good for tourism....yemoji natural pool is know as African river jordan
Abiodun★★★★★ — It’s a very cool, serene place to be for those who love nature. I got a ticket for 1,000 naira to access the place. The custodian of the facility will run you through the history of the spring water and show you around.
The park has lots of potential and needs to be properly maintained by the government. It’s a place I would love to come back to and see positive changes.
If you enjoy your own company you can stay here all day but if you don’t, you may be bored because there’s nothing much to engage you except from the water. If you are a swimmer you can immerse yourself in the water but if you’re a non-swimmer like myself, you can just watch the water from afar while you enjoy the cool breeze.
Please note: The water resort is located on the Ijebu Ode-Epe road and as such, if you are not mobile (have your own car), it will be a bit difficult for you to get a cab. It’s best you find your way out of there as early as possible because you do not want to be stranded on a quiet road.
TRAVELcandies T.★★★★★ — Beautiful small camp here and Michael, the owner is a very friendly host. The camp has a small river pond with fresh and clean water. Swimming is allowed. We enjoyed our time here.
Btw: reviewers really should think about, how they review: It doesn't make sense to give a positive review and just one star.
