Until as late as the year 2000s, Orie Agu Udi used to be a Local market that comes alive for trades only on Orie Market day (which is is every four days). As a young child growing up in my grandma's care, it's only on Orie Market days that she goes to buy everything she needs. But lately, it had become an everyday market as is obtainable in the cities.
If my grandmother, Felicia Egewechinti Eneh (nee Ezeh Nwaeju) and her co-wife Olunwa Agwu Ike (nee mmanyienwata) should come alive today, they'd be so happy that they can now go to Orie Agu Market everyday.
