If you are like me who doesnt have an adventurous taste buds, just stick to what you are familiar with lol. I had the 'grilled fish' and chips and honestly I didnt enjoy the fish because it didnt taste like what I am used to lol so maybe another thing to do is ask the waiters questions but luckily the sauce from my starter was a great help to eat it.

Unfortunately, after 30mins of waiting after placing our order, the kitchen calls him to inform him that there was an emergency which had to do with no gas to cook. Asking that we wait for upwards of an extra 35mins to figure out how to resolve this. Even appetiser wasn't available.
We had to leave without eating. I still hold that the professionalism of the waiter was noteworthy. However the kitchen staff behaviour and slip-up in planning messed the entire experience up.
Prices look fair (I was looking forward to lambchops and mashed potato(recommended by waiter)) ambience was good.
Won't most likely be returning.

I have been waiting over an hour and 30 minutes to get my order, the people i ordered the food for have gone to bed. The rider has been waiting since 7:25pm to pick up from mega chicken station at amuwo and this is 8:15pm and my food is not here yet. The help team from chowdeck checked in with them and they apologized that the shawarma was the one delaying my food. Why would shawarma take more than an hour to get ready and the last i checked tou dont get a long queue for shawarma. My order got confirmed at 6:40pm. The rider has been waiting since 7:25pm to pick up my order, now it says my order has been reassigned to another rider. What rubbish, horrible, negligence and unprofessional service from mega chicken. Your online service is horrible and I don’t think that i would ever use it again. Thank you

Ordered the Cajun Seared Barracuda and it was perfectly done, toasty on the outside and soft on the inside. I did not find a single bone in the fish, which was impressive. Absolutely delicious. 9/10
I initially wanted mashed potatoes as my side, but since it was not available, I opted for jollof rice and honestly I am glad I did. This was hands down the best basmati jollof I have ever had. Smoky, firewood flavoured, not overly peppery and incredibly tasty. 11/10
My sister had the Ofada, which was delicious and generously loaded with proteins. However, it would have been even better with Ayamase sauce. 7/10
Our waiter David was very understanding and offered excellent service, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
For drinks, the mojito was a standout. The lemon and mint hit perfectly. It was refreshing, balanced and very well made. 10/10
The strawberry daiquiri was nice but nothing particularly special. 7/10
Dessert was the chocolate mocha cake. The cake itself was warm, soft and delicious, and the chocolate syrup was really good. Unfortunately, the ice cream had melted by the time it arrived and was more foam than ice cream, which took away from the experience. 6/10
The yam fries were toast outside and soft inside. The tomato sauce was delicious 7/10
Cannot end the review without talking about the dj at the Prive lounge! He was so good and made us dance in our seats.
Overall, I will definitely be coming back, mainly for that jollof and the mojito alone. They should hold their chef well! They are doing a good job.

Now then... the place is beautiful, it has a lot of potential, the views are gorgeous, and it's a pleasant spot. But from the moment we walked in, the waiters' attitude was terrible. They seemed unmotivated, all sitting around doing their own thing and wandering about. The waitress didn't even know what dishes were on the menu or what they had. It took them over 40 minutes to serve the two hamburgers and the two shawarmas. They brought two more hamburgers and a shawarma, and the next one took almost an hour. We were the only ones in the restaurant; there were no other customers. They brought our drinks as soon as we sat down. When we ate, the drinks were warm. The menu that appears online isn't the restaurant's menu, and the one in the establishment only has a few things. For example, they have several types of pasta, but they only have the one with tomato sauce. They don't have sandwiches. It was swarming with flies and everything was covered in dust. In short, I don't recommend this place for eating. Maybe it's a good place for parties, I don't know, but NOT FOR EATING.

I then proceeded to complain about the issue the next day. They told me I would expect I refund within 14 business days. Till today I have not received the refund. If you want efficient service and honest business dealings, I would not recommend the black bell Ikota branch.

But there food is Horrible and for the price even the worst. I will never go to this restaurant again there price is extremely overrated. 7 shrimps for 75,000 naira no way. Our meal was six courses with each meal reimagined with gastronomy, it was mostly tasty with the Lamb and lemongrass dressing being my favourite and my least favourite being the aubergines, the texture and flavour was just not for me. The most displeasing part was the consumption tax that was added to the bill, it added a significant amount to the total with VAT and service charges still added. We were not a fan of that.
I liked the atmosphere, the uniqueness of the dishes and the professionalism of the staff. Go here if you got money to burn and a taste for adventure.

The service took over an hour before getting the food, after getting the food it took some 30 mins to get the waiter to pay them. Also, I was charged a mandatory 5% on the food bought. This was the first time I had to pay such charge at a restaurant. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!!!

Asked the manager to turn down the music and she said "it's a live band" as if you can't listen to live bands without losing your eardrums. This food was so disgusting. Let's start with the "large crab legs" that was supposed to come in the platter. They were not large at all, they were only the part that had the claw, and on top of that, they were disgusting and mushy. The sauce was absolutely disgusting. I'm not sure who told them they were making cajun butter but as someone who's family is from New Orleans, I can assure you there was nothing cajun about it. I'm not even sure it was butter. It was like some disgusting flavored gravy. Next, it was supposed to come with crayfish, they call small shrimp crayfish, which is not what I expected, but that's fine. That was my fault. Next, it was supposed to come with sausage, I had to tell them to bring that because they didn't put it in there. When they did bring it, let's just say they didn't look edible. The only thing I enjoyed was the boiled egg, which i had to pay extra for. Take my advice and trust the negative reviews, unless you like throwing away money. This was too expensive to be so disgusting.
