I decided I'd give it a go since I was hungry and couldn't locate the other place. The food was pretty good for it was and it was very fresh. Everything I picked on the menu just so happened to be "finished" which was annoying so I asked them to recommend what they have. I chose semonvita with ogbono and it was freshly made. The semo was soft and hot while the ogbono was fresh and full of different types of meat. The interior could really use a lift though, from the outside you'd even think they were closed because the lights aren't turned on. Likewise the inside has a dullness to it that is made worse by the smell of wood smoke which makes the entire place feel really stuffy. Other than that it was actually a pretty okay place. The staff were kind and the food was affordable so that's already very good.

Was last here in October 2024 when I last visited Abuja before recent. They’ve revamped the whole place. Still traditionally packaged; still maintaining its content.
Had Ofe Nsala with pounded yam and it’s as perfect as expected/I ordered.
Wonderful atmosphere when the AC was on but it suddenly went off while I was still there. As though they wanted to chase me out with heat.
Actually didn’t want to come here this time but palm wine brought. And I love what I saw.
Just hope they let a brother, who’s hiding from the sun and its heat, chill out as long as needed next time.
