Stephenson ★★★★★ : Their catfish pepper soup is salty, quite nice tho, they also don’t have a full takeaway pack for the catfish, they’ll break your catfish to fit into the small take away they have, I’ll just give them 2.0 on ratings, they have other flaws tho….
Daudu A. ★★★★★ : Somewhere is nowhere. We had high expectations but those expectations were mostly shattered. Firstly it's more of a bar than a restaurant so maybe that was our fault thinking it was a full blown restaurant. Also we went there on a Wednesday so maybe they're not used to having customers at the restaurant on weekdays. To be fair the food was actually quite good even though the goat meat was a bit hard. The staff need serious work on customer service : aptitudes like conversational skills, honesty, customer care... need to be acquired. The owner and her family were present at the restaurant at the time but they paid us no mind at all, I wonder what their excuse was : they probably don't care about the business that much. Would I recommend as a restaurant ? Probably not, unless you are looking for a place to sit down for 2 hours before your food is served. Pictures of the food included - coconut rice ans Bushman rice

How to choose safely

What to check before choosing restaurants in Ajah

Rankings are a starting point. For this category, these are the checks that most often separate a useful recommendation from a risky one.

Check recency
Restaurants change fast. Recent reviews and photos matter more than old popularity signals.
Match the occasion
Confirm ambience, parking, reservation rules, family-friendliness, and menu availability before going.
Watch consistency
Repeated comments about service speed, cleanliness, portions, and pricing are more useful than one viral review.
