Great place for a hiking experience

This is a hard hike. Rocky, steep, wet, slippery and bushy. It's the ultimate hiking experience. Not for the faint hearted. Good hiking shoes with excellent grip is a must. Don't get caught out.

Hiking is obviously one of the fun ways to spend your weekends in Abuja, if you like adventure, nature and want to work on your stamina hiking is the way to go!

If you are a Hiker. I will recommend the Horn. Take note its a Cardio Intensive hike. You'll need bottles of water, energy drink, chocolate bar and a prepared mindset. When you eventually conquer the Horn you are instantly rewarded with a breathtaking view.

This was an INTENSE hike! The terrain was rugged, vegetation was sparse (did not hear a single bird on the hike up and down, but then again, it was harmattan) and the rock monoliths were difficult and even scary to manoeuvre. It was definitely more fun going up than coming down…
