National Hospital is one of the oldest tertiary hospitals in Abuja. It has several buildings which are poorly maintained and dilapidated. The in-patient services are not up to standard. To top it all, their general toilet is a cesspool of strange , malodorous waste products.

It started as a beautiful Sunday but later became horrifying due to a close family member who suddenly took ill. He was rushed to the hospital and was given medical attention which led to his resuscitation. Their swift response and alertness are second to none!

Take your loved ones here at your own risk. Nothing is an emergency to them till you’re half dead. VERY rude and dismissive staff. Very dirty environment.

I had an unforgettable experience at the National Hospital Abuja some years ago when my neighbour had complications during childbirth. Thanks be to God for a safe ending.
