Serene. Clean rooms. Decent service. Breakfast service needs a tweak though and the bush bar needs an injection of life.

Well apart from the first day shower problems, I think every other thing was good especially your front desk staffs. Peace and the young guy. Kudos to them.

Bates is actually quite nice for what it is. But, and it's a big but, the staff are clearly overworked. Oh, and the shower was a little iffy. And the food. Serious upgrade needed in that department. Otherwise, Bates is actually not bad. A decent alternative for LBS students…

Very affordable and amazing hotel with topnotch service, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a very quiet safe neighbourhood . we enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back again. Highly recommend.
