Kanweli K.★★★★★ — It's a very fun place to visit for both children and adults there are different fun rides and a big swimming pool and water slides with a zoo and art gallery. And after the payment you will be tied a paper wristband to identify that you have paid when entering there is a aquarium by the right side.
Ellie★★★★★ — This is a very beautiful leisure park with many activities for both children and adults. There are options such as swimming, go-karting, and other recreational activities. We traveled from Austria and were excited to visit what felt like a local attraction.
When we arrived, there were many people waiting outside. At first, we thought it was a long entrance queue, but it turned out that these were parents waiting for special offers or activities for their children. If we had not gone inside to ask, we would have joined the line unnecessarily. It would be very helpful to have a staff member outside giving clear instructions and guiding guests, as this would avoid confusion and make the arrival process much smoother.
What we did not enjoy as much was the service at the zoo. The gentleman at the ticket counter answered our questions in a very tired and unmotivated manner. Another staff member at the entrance gate asked us to throw away our popcorn because of the animals, which we of course did. We expected to see many animals afterward and were really looking forward to it, but when we got to the zoo, we honestly thought: “Where are the animals?? 😹”
Unfortunately, this turned out to be quite disappointing. There were very few animals overall: only an ostrich, a few monkeys, some snakes and a lion. The general atmosphere around the animals did not feel very joyful, and I felt especially sorry for the children who may have expected much more.
Overall, there are several nice spots for taking photos and enjoying activities around the park. The cocktail at the restaurant bar was very good; however, the overall restaurant atmosphere could use some improvement. It was quite dark, and hardly anyone was dining there, which made it feel a bit empty.
The park is nice and has potential, but it would be great if it were designed not only to appeal to children, but also more clearly to adults. That said, it was still an enjoyable visit. For anyone looking to take beautiful photos, there is a very cool photographer on-site who takes great pictures.
Chris O.★★★★★ — Mandela Gardens is a place to be, it has nice rooms so spacious, 24hrs power supply, security tight as a result of its location (Inside Asaba Airport).
The garden accommodates different kind of events and service from the staff was good. They are friendly.
Chukwuedo U.★★★★★ — A beautiful hotel in the heart of Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria. A perfect home away from home.
Experience the best luxury in hospitality industry in South South Nigeria.
uche N.★★★★★ — A beautiful hangout space.A central pool area with beach house vibes. Pretty outdoor area. Karaoke on Thursday night and Sunday night events are very entertaining.
Omenogo T.★★★★★ — It is a beautiful place with a number of engagement types. They have a five-aside-football pitch, fine dining restaurant, gym & unisex saloon, outdoor lounge . Now the beach house, I guess, gets its name from an architecturally interesting pool of varied depths surrounded by multiple "condos" that could take a small group at a time. I hear they have dancers and life at various days of the week.
It is mainly accessed from Infant Jesus road with a small entrance on Anwai road. Nice staff. There is no on-site parking, just street parking available
uzoamaka I.★★★★★ — The ambiance is cool but the service is poor and the food took over 2 hours to arrive and our order was mixed up
Alexandria A.★★★★★ — Still a Favorite Spot – Great Memories, Great Experience
This place holds a special spot in my heart—I had my very first official date with my now-husband here. It’s beautiful to see that they’ve maintained their standards over the years. One thing I really admire is how the owner prioritizes renovations—everything still feels fresh, clean, and well-kept.
I also appreciate that it’s a no-smoking bar, so you’re not welcomed by any unpleasant smells when you walk in. The atmosphere is always clean and classy.
Customer service is warm and attentive, although I’d suggest they tighten security a bit more, just for peace of mind. That aside, the drinks are always chilled and refreshing, and the food is consistently delicious.
One standout feature for me was the restroom—absolutely clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The toilet is at a comfortable waist-level height, no need to squat too low, and the flushing system on the wall adds a sleek touch. It even smelled amazing! The aesthetic in there was simply giving.
Overall, still one of my favorite spots—nostalgic, classy, and consistent. Highly recommend!
Safi F.★★★★★ — It’s quite expensive to go in to the park, but you can stay within the premises and take pictures if you like.
Akiri b★★★★★ — Had a beautiful and warm night filled with so much fun, mixed with displayed diversities in culture and rich heritage.
Maryam Babaginda leisure park display a beautiful and scenery environment with presentations of our rich Nigerian heritage from the spacious area to the neatly fully air conditioned event hall. It's a place to revitalize your mind and body especially on that vacation trip alone or with the family.
Victor U.★★★★★ — They sell local traditional delicacies and at affordable prices. You pay before service and the service is fast. There is a parking space in front which is almost always filled to the brim. The meals taste quite good, no wonder they enjoy very good patronage here. You can get different south-eastern/south-southern Nigerian soups such as Nsala, Oha, Banga, Egusi, Ogbono etc.
uto W.★★★★★ — Very dirty noticed or caught the man putting the remains someone ate. It was luck that we didn’t order there again
