Wachin D. ★★★★★ : Its a nice place to hang-out with a meal. Their meals are affordable too. I was there last Saturday with 4 others to hang-out. Chicken Republic is always the brand I go for wherever I find myself, beginning from Lagos, Lokoja and this time it was my first visit to the Makurdi outlet. The lady that served us, one Jennifer has a top notch customer service I haven't seen in any of the several locations I have visited so far. My concern however was about the space. The management should do more in maximizing the space, I believe proper arrangement can produce more tables and seats. I and my people had to hang in a corner for a table to be cleared before we could sit comfortably.

Recently, I haven’t been appreciating their meals, it’s not like it was before and the staff here, they don’t have a work attitude. Their attitude towards work or rendering services to a customer are discouraging, they are mean, rude and nonchalant.

Air-conditioning is top notch to battle the Makurdi heat. Food prices are friendly and freshly made fruit juices are also available. I tried the sugarcane juice and it blew my mind away.

The food is great, the service is good and there is always light. These are some pictures of me in the lounge section. You can always visit it when you are in Makurdi.

The turkey and ponmo both had funny smell after heating, however, I proceeded to eat with assumption that it was good. On sitting down to eat, I tasted it immediately and without doubt it was terrible. I complained to the attendants there but was told to relay to the manager, which I requested to see. The manager didn’t show up until I made an issue out of it all some 45mins later. The attitude of both the manager and her assistant were both irritating to a service providing business. Wish you all the best in your future endeavors if you continue as such.

Clement O. ★★★★★ : Wow. This people are either trying to drive away certain customers or the staffs are just bad. After facing a brief and understandable harassment by the security at the entrance, my friend and I had to wait minutes with no waiter to attend to us. They just kept passing without visiting our table. My friend called one of them and she came to take our orders. However, it took like for ever before she arrived with them orders. We wanted to leave during the wait period but they had already debited us the bill and there was no drink. We couldn't just let the money slide, so we had no option than to wait. When our guest arrived, similar stuff was about to play, only this time we haven't paid, so we had to leave. For me it was a waste of time and money. Also, they don't have a good list of drinks. Drink options are limited to Nigeria Breweries. I had to force myself to take what I wouldn't have taken on a normal day, if I had my options. The place looks okay for an outdoor sit out and I love their TV screen sizes and music. However, I went there not for those stuffs, so they don't count for me. The location is safe and close to an access road, making it easy to locate and feel comfortable. You have to try it out for yourself, these are my recent experience with tiger Bar.

Samuel A. ★★★★★ : Perhaps the biggest sellout is the fact that this restaurant is always open,day and night. If you intend grabbing a quick bite then you should opt for peppered meat/fish which may be readily available. Any course meal may take up to 30 minutes as its usually freshly prepared to give you the best experience. I've had food at the restaurant nicely and haven't had more than 2 tables full so very airy, had room service bring food to the hotel room in the early hours of the morning still very fresh and I've ordered food to the poolside. The menu remained at full capacity that is nothing wasn't available because it was night, everything could be gotten at whatever time. The restaurant main is located by your left hand side as soon as you drive into the hotel main gate. They take payments by cash or use bank cards on point of sale(POS) terminals. I'd recommend that you have the chicken peppersoup also the freshly made vegetable soup coming with any choice of swallow (local dish).
